The chic apartment is the ideal base for enjoying Rostock and the surrounding area. In 10-15 minutes' walk you are in the city center and can inquire about all the sights at the tourist information office. At the main train station, which is only about a 5-minute walk away and has train connections to the Warnemünde, which is worth seeing, there is a bicycle rental (parking on the premises).

The apartment (since mid-July 2020) is small, lovingly and specially furnished with clay-plastered walls, hand-painted bricks on the floor, favorite pictures and furniture. It borders the house that we live in as a family with children on an old three-sided farm. There are no direct neighbors, lots of nature and you can make beautiful excursions in all directions by bike or car: Baltic Sea, islands, Stralsund, Greifswald, Rostock, Mecklenburg Lake District, Peene, Tollense...

In the evening you can sit comfortably by the fire or read a book on the comfortable couch with a glass of wine. From Groß Markow you can explore the surroundings by bike or by car. The place lies between Lake Kummerow and Lake Teterow. The Baltic Sea can be reached in just an hour.

This apartment is located in the former old school in the village and was probably originally built for the teacher in 1815. It contains one bedroom, another sleeping chamber under the roof (only bookable in summer), a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom with shower. The sleeping chamber under the roof can only be reached via a steep staircase. The chamber can be heated via an oven, but the roof is not perfectly insulated.

Our central location makes us an ideal starting point for excursions to Bad Doberan, Kühlungsborn and Rostock. The car is happy to stop due to the connection to public transport.
