Riverwood cottage, accessible accommodation

This beautiful cottage was built in 1916, and is rich in local history as it was part of a larger property used by MacRobertson chocolate company for timber production of wooden casks to hold maize syrup. This historical cottage situated on the Yarra river flats has been lovingly restored to accomodate guests requiring wheelchairs and the non-ambulatory. The property is just 3 minutes from central Warburton which allows visitors to enjoy all that the amazing Upper Yarra Valley has to offer.

We live in a separate dwelling on-site—here to assist if needed but won’t interrupt your relaxing stay. There is a kitchenette which includes fridge, toaster, jug, microwave, electric frypan, bench top toaster oven and single induction hotplate. Pets by arrangement only no surprises.
