Best Cottage on Lake Loramie!

Nicest place on beautiful Lake Loramie. Lake front view from the living area. The Fort Loramie state park is right across the road. This park offers over 400 acres and 1655 acres of land to explore complete with a beach. Our State Park is one of the original canal feeder lakes with more than eight miles of hiking trails that follow a portion of the Miami-Erie Canal. Kayaking is a big hit at Lake Loramie also! Everything you need for a getaway. Other rentals also available!

We are open for guests! The Cabin at Maple View is located a quarter mile off of the highway down a long twisting driveway. It is tucked back in the woods and away from it all. You notice the Amish craftsmanship as soon as you arrive. You are surrounded by 80 acres of manicured woods and a huge yard. The environment is welcoming. The atmosphere is warm. Call it your home for a night or for an extended stay. It is beautiful no matter the time of year.

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this remote, unique place. This rare place was a weekend fishing house. Over the years, it was converted to a home. Keeping with the retro theme, all furniture & linens are brand new. Perfect for a little getaway or weekend wedding. A path through the woods brings you to Blackberry Island. Such a gem! Intro rates are only for a few weeks to smooth out any wrinkles.

We chose this home as a last minute 3 family trip for a softball tournament. The host was very responsive (Lisa) with any questions I had, with instructions for check-in and all the follow-up for check-out and post stay. The kitchen was amazingly stocked (and labeled) with anything we needed to make meals from crockpot, toaster, 2 coffee machines (one Keurig, one 12 cup and we brought both kinds of coffee!) and closets had lots of extra pillows, blankets, towels that were needed. Clear instructions on fridge for check-out, noise curfew, etc was helpful too. The outside firepit was our favorite! If you need charcoal for the grill, a DG is 5 minute drive outside the island. We were really pleased with our stay and are thinking of another family weekend in the fall. Within walking distance to Cranberry Resort with live bands (8-12 on a Friday) and great scenery. Thank you Lisa for being so accommodating and responsive!

Nicholas place was very clean and comfortable. It had everything I needed for my stay, even great local restaurants.

This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed at the Victorian (first time in room 1, second in room 2, now in room 4). It’s honestly become home away from home. It’s close enough to family and some local eats like Pat’s Donuts and Creme and Jack’s pizza. If only there are connected suite rooms, then it would be perfect for our future growing family!
