Private access to the beautiful Wenaha River is a short walk behind the cabin. The Grande Ronde River is a short walk down the lane. Morels, birds & wildflowers in May. Rafting in June. Huckleberries in July. Steelhead fishing Sept 1. Hunting in Oct, etc. Plenty of parking. Just tell us if you want to park an RV. Stay 3+ nights, rate change to $150. Ask me.

Breathtaking Wallowa Lake Retreat with Sauna

This property was even better than the photos depicted! There is an amazing view from the front porch. The circle drive was handy to use with a boat and it was right across the street from the boat ramp. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and the extra mattress and fold out bed were also nice to have. It was tastefully decorated. The sauna was an added bonus and the flowers in the front and back yard lent to the beauty of this fabulous place.

We loved staying in this home. Had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Our host was very accommodating to some specific needs and we felt this place was a great value. We loved having a yard with deck and fire pit to hang out and our host takes pride in the outdoor environment with beautiful Flowers and herbs. This translated to an additional space we had not really expected but thoroughly enjoyed. The rooms, beds, bathrooms all well set up and very clean and comfortable. Thank you!

Our stay at this Airbnb was truly exceptional and easily the best we’ve experienced so far. The property is situated right on the lake, offering breathtaking views that made our trip unforgettable. Jeff, the host, was incredibly responsive and ensured everything was seamless, even accommodating us with an option for early check-in, which was greatly appreciated. The house itself was fantastic—well-stocked with everything you could need in the kitchen, comfortable beds, and a deck with stunning views of the lake. Our kids particularly enjoyed the loft area and the cozy basement, which was perfect for relaxing and watching TV in the recliners. Overall, we had an amazing experience and wouldn’t hesitate to return for another stay. Highly recommended!

I was in this area for a memorial service and my plans were tentative at best for the entire weekend. Stacy so kindly worked with me as the family’s plans changed, and my plans changed, and it could not have been a better arrangement. The gorgeous historic home felt so cozy as soon as you walked in. I stayed in the king sized bedroom with the in-room bathroom. The bed and pillows were so comfortable and there was plenty of room to unwind and relax. This was a much needed respite in such a stunningly beautiful area!

Treefort was everything we hoped it would be! Amazing location (near everything), beautiful, exceptionally clean, well stocked and comfortable. We'll miss falling asleep next to the brook that runs by the property. Fun games, comfortable beds, basically a perfect weekend at the lake! Ruth is accommodating, caring, and super communicative. Top ratings from us!!
