This Troy, OR log cabin has 2 bedrooms (one upstairs in the loft) a complete kitchen, porch, and large outdoor space for games and dogs. Private access to the beautiful Wenaha River is a short walk behind the cabin. The Grande Ronde River is a short walk down the lane. Morels, birds & wildflowers in May. Rafting in June. Huckleberries in July. Steelhead fishing Sept 1. Hunting in Oct, etc. Plenty of parking. Just tell us if you want to park an RV. Stay 3+ nights, rate change to $150. Ask me.

Barn Studio with King Bed & No Extra Fees!

Our newer space is great for groups of 3 or less. We don't charge a cleaning fee or per person fee! Great location for hiking, riding the Eagle Cap Excursion Train, pedaling the Joseph Branch Rail Riders, rafting the river or enjoying Wallowa Lake which is also close by. We live in the front of the barn house, the studio is it's own private space with a full kitchen, washer & dryer and private outdoor space. Excellent WiFi, super clean, quiet and comfortable place in beautiful Wallowa County.

It was a pleasure to stay in Kathy’s “cabin” with the beautiful Wallowa Lake view and access. From the deck we watched the sunrise, and saw a bald eagle fly across the lake. We also took a refreshing dip in the cold lake a couple times. The whole experience was top notch!

A basic nice smallish quiet place conveniently located with a total gravel yard that wraps around the house. Perfect for parking a truck and trailer. Host responded promptly. These places in Enterprise seem expensive but with most places already booked up in the summer. I would stay here again.

It was perfect for what we needed. It was our son’s wedding weekend in Joseph which was just a short and scenic drive away. It accommodated part of our family and a couple pets. Everyone had their own private space and we enjoyed the instruments!

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely cabin. The location was perfect for my dog competition and walks in the park with the dogs. We also were very close to the trailheads for several hikes. It was lovely to wakeup to the local deer in the backyard each morning! The cabin was very comfortable and we enjoyed the deck in the evenings. I appreciated your thorough book on the Joseph area of things to do, hikes, restaurants and places to see as well as household information. It was very helpful. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely cabin with us. Hope to be back next year, Martha

We loved our stay out in Joseph! The house was very nice and decks had great views of Wallowa lake. We did have some trouble finding the right driveway, the directions were confusing and almost a little over complicated, and there wasn’t any signage at the top indicating it was the correct driveway. Otherwise it wasn’t difficult getting to the place. It was very beautiful and peaceful and we also enjoyed the seasonal dock. Joseph itself is a very quaint little town and we enjoyed walking around and visiting the various shops and local dining. We enjoyed some of the local activities including kayaking and hiking, and also went up on the tram for an impressive view and even road on the Joseph Branch Railriders! We would definitely consider coming back to visit Joseph and would be happy to stay here again!
