Great stay . Calm area . Amenities listed facilitated our stay. Very clean. Would stay again. The host Patricia communicated promptly, clearly and was very helpful.

Highly recommended — especially for families with young children! The property has everything you could need, and there’s even a charming farm nearby (just be sure to check their hours in advance). The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The house was spotless and had such a welcoming, positive energy. With so much land to explore, you truly don’t need to leave the property if you bring your own food and supplies. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely book again in the future!

We booked the house for five nights for a group of six adults and had a lovely visit. Gabriela was a fantastic host communicating super promptly to our questions. It rained 90% of the time so we used the interior of the house to the fullest, and not the exterior (no fire pit, bikes, or hot tub) so cannot comment on those features. All appliances worked well. Kitchen is helpfully labeled and well stocked with kitchenware. The beds were very comfortable, towels fluffy, and downstairs family/game room is a great space for all ages. Furniture was comfortable, dining table was welcoming and though the house shows a bit of wear and tear here and there, everything was clean, tidy, and decorated appealingly. Tip: Bellvale Market just 7” away had great quality food products; Warwick, a quaint larger town, is just 10-15” away providing all other conveniences.

The Chateau Renee was a great place to stay! From the scenic view from the back deck and hot tub, to the beautifully curated interior, our small group had an amazing time. We enjoyed some local restaurants in Greenwood Lake and over in Warwick, and were able to catch a broadway show in the city since we were only about an hour away. If you’re looking for a spot to stay anywhere in this area, you have found your Airbnb!

Perfect, modern yet cozy cabin. The aesthetic was beautiful and was fully stocked with everything you could need. The neighbors are close but we never saw them. Maybe because we came up before the season picks up. We utilized all of Bilen's local recommendations. We loved the Local Table & Tap. Beautiful views. We also took a drive to Upward Brewing which was phenomenal. Keeping this Airbnb in my go-tos. Couldn't be happier :) Perfect for nature lovers.

Peaceful surroundings, beautiful lake, wonderful house and amazing hosts! Had an absolute ball kayaking, fishing, and enjoying nature. This was my second trip and can’t wait to go back again.

This cottage was absolutely beautiful and perfect for a couple’s getaway! We loved how private the cottage was and the privacy fence around the backyard. The fire pit was a great way to wind down and enjoy s’mores (provided by the hosts) at the end of the night. The hot tub was also a perfect way to relax and unwind after a day of hiking. We loved that the instructions were provided so we explicitly knew what to do and not to do. The bed and bed covers were very comfortable and incredibly clean! We enjoyed all the little details put into decorating the cottage without being cluttered. While we didn’t need to use more than a few utensils when staying there, the kitchen was fully stocked and even had a little Keurig coffee bar to use if desired. This cottage was well worth the price and a phenomenal place to stay while visiting Lake Wallenpaupack. It’s close enough to important and fun places, but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend!!!!!!

Bob & Julie's they were excellent hosts! The house and property are beautiful! This place is one we would return to without hesitation. It was very clean and included everything needed in the kitchen at home cooking. Hot tub was awesome with amazing view on the lake. The wood burning fire pit was one of our favorites about the house. Highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a great place to stay. Would definitely stay again.

I love the fresh air flowing throughout this entire little cottage. Every room invites dappled sunlight filtered through lush summer foliage. It is truly cozy, whether enjoying a coffee on the back porch, journaling at the desk or chilling on the big comfy couch. Walk out the door and the lake and charming downtown are steps away. I find myself thinking I could truly spend a happy month, here. Stay. Return. I know I will.

What a perfect place to stay and unwind. The views are gorgeous, everything was comfortable and uncluttered and we felt perfectly at home. We actually both worked remotely for a few days, then took the last few for ourselves and everything worked fine (no internet issues being fairly remote). We cooked after shopping at Main Street and Pecks, ordered takeout from the Kaatskeller, and spent too much in the local shops. We love the area and now we have a new favorite location. Thanks for everything!

It was a wonderful weekend that we spent there. House was very clean and cozy for me and my daughter. Darla provided all instructions and you can find house very easy. Also we found everything for my dog including dog bowels, bed and treatment for fleas and ticks. If you like hiking you can find any hikes trails near the mountains and small waterfalls. We were found Ashokan Reservoir with promenade the view on mountains is fantastic. You can find a lots of farms there with local raw honey and jams and even with cambucha. I was enjoying driving there between forest and mountains. It is ideal place for relaxation and private time for yourself. I would definitely come back there next time.

We loved the house! Felt right at home and comfortable and was close driving distance to Hudson and a lot of activities we wanted to do in the area. Hosts were friendly and responsive, and we would love to stay again sometime!

My wife and I were looking for a relaxing, peaceful place to spend our wedding anniversary and John’s place more than delivered. The grounds were beautiful and the views were breathtaking. The house was clean and cosy with large windows for letting in the sunlight and fresh air. The sounds of the river were incredibly calming. Leave the white noise machine at home and let the river sing you to sleep! Our dog had plenty of room to run around the property and she loved daily visits to the river, as we did too. The nearby town had some nice restaurants that John recommended, the Heron being our favorite! We had everything we needed and plenty of accommodations were provided, but it was clear that if you needed anything, John would make it happen for you. We loved this place and would absolutely stay there in the future.

We had an amazing time at Mark’s cozy cottage. We immediately felt right at home and enjoyed how close to everything it was. We were a short walk from Bread Alone bakery, as well as the Boiceville Inn and only an eight minute drive from Phoenecia Diner. The cottage was equally as comfortable as it was beautifully designed. We were well accommodated, from having full kitchen access to tools for making cocktails. We would definitely visit again!

Nice surroundings, well equipped for a few meals, and comfortable sleeping for our family visiting the area.

Stayed for a long weekend with my wife and two dogs. Cottage was comfortable and clean with an amazing view of the lake with a nice patio and access to the dock which we enjoyed. Also great location just a bit over an hour from the city but within a 15 minute drive to many great hikes and close to many great food options. Tony was also very responsive and helpful with recommendarions. Highly recommend.

My wife and I came up from NYC to celebrate a wedding at a local venue. We were very pleased with the artwork and the artistic vibe embodied in the surrounding area. Our stay was very peaceful and comfortable. The decor in the cottage has artistic expression in mind. We especially liked the electric guitar, turn-table and good selection of classic records. We hope to be back very soon!

Would highly recommend this home! We had dinner both nights at Artemios Prime and Proper…very good food! We had a wonderful conversation with one of the owners at the end of our meal the first evening! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Upper Greenwood Lake area!

We had a great stay. The house was very nice—comfortable, clean, and right by the lake. Peaceful and quiet, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Scott and Joelle were excellent hosts—responsive and easy to communicate with. They made the whole process simple. Highly recommend.

This cottage was very lovely, cozy, clean, and just a few minutes from the town of Woodstock, but very secluded and peaceful on a beautiful property. The home was exactly as described and had everything you could need for a short stay. I do recommend having 4-wheel drive and a car with good suspension to get up the gravel road leading to the house. Cayenne is a wonderful host - she was extremely kind and easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again!

We were expecting a peaceful, rustic, laid-back experience, and that's just what we got...and more. The cottage is situated in a lovely setting surrounded by trees, right at the edge of a picturesque brook. The inside was all we could ask for and more. So inviting and clean. Oozing warmth and charm. Every time we needed something, we could find it already supplied. The hosts clearly have thought of everything. We also loved the surrounding area. We spent lots of time in local eateries, checking out the nearby towns, and visiting the dozens of antique shops nearby. We had a wonderful time.

The location was great—close to our favorite towns and all the attractions we love like Bethel Arts Center. The house feels private, like you're alone in the middle of the woods, which made for a peaceful and relaxing stay. We especially enjoyed the pool, and the house was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. The hosts were also very responsive and accommodating with all our requests, which made the experience even better.
