Chalet vacation rentals in Wakefield

We enjoyed our stay at J.C.'s cottage. We were 2 families, 9 people in total. There was plenty of room for us and lots of water toys and activities. The lake was serene - we paddled, kayaked, and swam all day. The hill down to the water is steep (as described in the listing), but very do-able and worth the walk. The cottage was well equipped and clean, and the beds were comfortable. Communication with the hosts was easy and they were very responsive. Without hesitation, we recommend both the hosts and the cottage.

Very good stay for two large families, with the grandparents who came to dinner… such a convivial table that sat the 9 of us well for dinner. A great discovery we'll go back to!

This place was just as described. Right by the water, and right on the golf course. Plenty of space for our group of 16!

Amazing property and hosts. Erin & Sadique were extremely responsive and answered all our questions. They even provided a high chair for my daughter on request. The property is expansive and you will truly feel like you have a private lake. The living room is so spacious and the wood makes it feel cozy despite the big size. The rooms are top notch much much better than your average Air BnB sinking mattresses. The bathroom in the main bedroom on the ground floor is just amazing. Our group made full use of the hot tub, easily accommodated 5 at a time and was the highlight of our trip. Highly recommend this place!

I’ve used Airbnb for 15 yrs and this is the first time I’m giving 5 stars across the board. This was a family trip with young kids for spring break so being close to Mont Cascade and Edelweiss was fantastic. We will be booking this again! This place would also be great for a girls retreat with a hot tub, sauna, lots of towels and pillows, and the bonus is swings for IG photoshoots 😄

This cottage is a hidden gem! The location is peaceful, romantic, and absolutely perfect for a relaxing family getaway. It’s also very kid-friendly — our children had a great time enjoying nature, the open space, and the safe swimming area. Access to the cottage was very easy, and everything was well prepared upon arrival. We especially enjoyed the kayaking, fishing, and having BBQs by the water. Jacques was helpful and responsive, and the overall experience was smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended for families or couples looking to disconnect and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Our group of 5 enjoyed staying here so much, even on a rainy weekend. The sauna and hot tub were well used and we very much enjoyed the space. We felt we had everything we needed and more. Beds are comfortable, kitchen fully stocked and amenities like sauna and hot tub were great to have on a rainy weekend. Hosts were very communicative and kind!

This chalet is a true gem! Our winter stay was a dream, surrounded by 52 acres of beautiful property (though we only managed to explore about 10!). The views were absolutely stunning, and I can only imagine how gorgeous it must be in the summer and fall – we're definitely coming back. The chalet was meticulously clean, incredibly welcoming, and stocked with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The hosts were so friendly and proactive, and the little surprise touches upon arrival made it extra special. Highly recommend this peaceful and picturesque escape! Had the best time here with my friends. there's free canoe and pedal boat in the property as well as games like badminton and a net for it. It was such a peaceful place to stay at and very clean. We also got lucky we were the only one who rented a cabin out of the four cabins that were there so we got the place all to ourselves. I would definitely recommend this place for a family staycation. I recently had the pleasure of staying at the "Cozy Lake Front Nature Escape" in Maniwaki, Quebec, and it was a truly delightful experience. The chalet is nestled in a serene natural setting, offering picturesque views of the lake, which provide a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The interior was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with all the necessary amenities, including Wi-Fi, allowing me to stay connected during my retreat. The host was attentive and responsive, ensuring my stay was as pleasant as possible. They even organized a cute little treasure hunt for us to find our goodies. I especially appreciated the fresh farm cloves of garlic and eggs; they were lovely. I highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway immersed in nature.

We loved staying at Ced’s place, it was very secluded, peaceful and had every amenity we could ask for! He was really responsive throughout our stay and even let us checkout a little late which was really considerate. Highly recommended!

We stayed 4 days in this beautiful cottage in mid-April. Everything was very good as described in the listing. The host is very responsive to messages which was very appreciated when we needed it. There were no paddles/oars for the boats and he sent them to us quickly. We will definitely come back to enjoy a long weekend. The cottage is very well located on the lake and not far from the shops of Minerve. Thank you!
