Perfect environment for peace and quiet, but also perfect central spot to explore Marlborough. Ample space for children and animals to play. Plenty of parking space, including a boat. Up a private right of way, set in native bush, this modernised cottage offers views of Waikawa Bay. Wake up to birdsong. Watch the tui flitting between the trees and maybe a weka crossing the lawn. Gaze at native bush and hills or watch the boats in the Bay. A wonderful place to chill out in the last of sun. Walking distance to bike tracks, the beach & marina/pub. Waikawa is a microclimate very sheltered and peaceful, private outdoor living on the guest patio, BBQ, Sheep on the farm 5 minutes to the safe swimming beach, 4 min to the local marina, Jolly Roger Café bar. 8 min drive to Picton's shops, restaurants and ferry terminal. There are many bush walks. Karaka Point Maori Pa Site is four km .
