Marielund: A scenic farmhouse by the beach

Marielund is a danish farmhouse (est. 1907) in a beautiful and isolated spot right by the baltic sea. It has been completely refurbished, and includes modern amenities, a fireplace and good quality Scandinavian country style furnishing (completed in May 2020). Stunning location, 40 meters from a private beach with direct access through the large south facing garden. Enjoy the sounds of the sea, birdsong and the nights sky in absolute privacy, with no neighbours or tourism to be seen!

The cottage is located in the “Bothkamper See” nature reserve. It offers an outdoor hot tub, shower with nature view, steam sauna, wood-burning stove, terrace, XXL couch and super king size bed, fully equipped kitchen, ice maker, Bluetooth music system, record player, Wi-Fi, 2 x BBQ area, bicycles, home office, 2 x spa, private cinema, giant swing, fireplace, swimming area, wood chopper and much more. This house is situated in a pleasant residential area on the outskirts of town. A cozy apartment in the basement is an ideal "anchor place" for one-two people. High in the north, located on the Schlei and only minutes away from Schlei or Baltic Sea beach, the municipality of Rieseby forms the center of the Schwansen peninsula. The lovingly furnished apartment with separate entrance has a double bed, a small dining area, a cozy sofa and TV corner. 800 meters away are a beautiful natural beach with cliffs and a lively beach section with promenade, restaurants, toilets, and a surf school. Supermarket, bus connection and bakery are a two-minute walk away. Tourist tax (2.50 euros per person per day) is not included in the price and must be paid in cash upon arrival.

Charming “chapel” in the north German Bullerbü

Our small "chapel" is located on a former farm between the Schlei and the Hüttener Berge Nature Park. Peacefully nestled between meadows, fields and moors lies our unmistakable "mini village". Four families live with us, with a total of five children, as well as a friendly Hovawart dog, four cats, a rooster and two hens. All two and four-legged friends run free on the premises, there are no fences or gates with us.

Our farm is over 125 years old and is surrounded by meadows and fields, between Schlei and the Baltic Sea, on the Schwansen peninsula. We have a dog, a cat, 11 chickens and two roosters. Eckernförde and Kappeln are each only 15 km away, the Baltic Sea beach is 3 km away, the Baltic Sea resort of Damp, with numerous leisure activities, 7 km.
