In the general area is Homer's Stone (where tradition has it that Homer did the teaching) as well as the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Cyveli.

Close enough to the port of chios that transportation is not needed. The city has created a new public park next to my home. It features a cushioned jogging track, exercise equipment and basketball courts. Facilities are available for all guests
