Fully renovated typical old stone house in the Karst region of Slovenia (EU), because of the rich wines and scenery also called "Slovenian Tuscuny". Small farm village Dolenja vas (Sežana) is near famous Škocjan caves, stud farm Lipica, Postojna caves and just 30 minutes by car from Trieste, Slovenian coast and 45 from Ljubljana. In Karst dialect "ana pravca" means "one fairy-tale" and Ana is also the name of the owner of the property. The house has 4 independent units with 4 bathrooms. Guests of the house are welcomed to use kitchen, dinning room and garden for relaxing or having a picnic. The house can be rent as a whole, for maximum 15 persons (10+5). A family suite has one bedroom with a double bed and second, children bedroom with 2 separate beds. In the living room the extra bed for 2 is a sleeping sofa. The suite has a bathroom with a shower and it's own separate entrance. The suite with a private terrace on the 1st floor has a bedroom with a double bed and a living room with a sleeping sofa for 2. It has a bathroom with a shower. On the first floor are also two rooms. First, spacious room with a bed for 2 and an additional sleeping sofa for 2, has a private terrace and a bathroom with a tub. It does not have a beach and you need to have a car to move arround. All the interesting places to see are in range of 5-20 kilometers(beach Kostrena,Crikvenica,Opatija,Rijeka).Studio has a small indor place and a large outdoor area(terrace and garden).It is located in old city up the hill and you have 30 stairs to get to the apartment.

Pierpaolo is a very welcoming host and his house is truly beautiful—everything has been restored with obvious care and immaculate attention to detail. He was always available nearby to answer any question we had but we also felt that we had total privacy. Škocjan is a lovely village (if you are planning on staying here you are certainly planning to visit the caves) and a great base for further exploration—there is a remarkable feeling of peace and isolation despite the fact that it is a quick drive of under an hour from LJU and just a few minutes from the A1. We benefited from many of Pierpaolo's excellent local recommendations. Highly recommended.

My husband Peter and I had a fantastic time at Grega and Katarina's home. Their cottage was comfortable, clean, spacious, and homey. The location is absolutely perfect - it's a farm maybe 5 minutes from the city of Postojna, which gives you the peace and quiet of a rural area while being close enough to enjoy all the city amenities. It's also perfectly positioned near the Postojna Caves and Predjama Castle. In my opinion, the prices were extremely fair considering how much space we had and the incredible breakfast included - for just €9 per person, we enjoyed a huge, delicious homemade breakfast with all fresh items from their farm: yogurt, cheese, eggs, charcuterie, butter, coffee, milk, jam, honey, and bread. We had a wonderful time befriending Grega and Katarina, who were very kind and gracious hosts and answered all our questions about farm life. We would definitely return and highly recommend their place to anyone visiting the area. Our only regret is not staying longer!

We stayed at Elvis’s place for a week and loved everything bout it. The apartment is tucked away is the tiny village of Ipsy . Upon arriving our first impression was WOW ! This a gem! The place is full of charm, history , and the view is one of the best in Istria Super clean and everything you need for your stay. The 3 terraces provide extra space to relax, read, dine outside while enjoying the views of Motovun Elvis has taken his family’s 250 year old home and added modern bathrooms and flooring without changing the integrity of the home. It’s very well done. The beds are comfy and showers are great and its quiet Ipsa, the winery and olive producer is right next door.. 😀. Loved it ! Thank you , Elvis , for the treats and being a wonderful host A+

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Matejči's spacious and modern apartment, with convenient parking right in front. The location was perfect for our planned trips to the Slovenian coast, Trieste, and, of course, the Škocjan Caves, which are only a few minutes away (be sure to reserve your tickets in advance!). Unfortunately, we didn’t have time for the truffle hunting tour and dinner that Matejči and her partner offer, but hopefully, we can experience that next time!

MAJDA's BUNGALOW is a little gem! In 25 square meters there is all the comfort you need. We stayed 7 nights with 4 people (2 adults and 2 girls). Majda welcomed us with all the necessary information, welcoming us with local specialties as a welcome. She gave us tips on activities and excursions complete with a handmade map of Slovenia, on which she marked all the main attractions of the place. Never seen so much helpfulness, care and passion in a property! The pool is comfortable, very close to the accommodation. Water always at the right temperature, with the possibility of bathing both at night and with the cover provided. Products from the garden and eggs from the chicken coop available to us. For the girls, everything was really fun Around us an infinite variety of nature and animals of all sizes and colors. Truly a place of peace and relaxation, a great starting point for endless activities. Highly recommended… with all my heart!
