Enjoy a cozy vacation in the countryside – in a UNESCO biosphere reserve, close to the medieval town of Stege, near the water and surrounded by nature. We are a family consisting of a Danish-Japanese couple, two dogs, two cats, sheep, running ducks, and chickens. We care about ecology and sustainability, and love growing our own vegetables and herbs in the garden. "Farm to table" Breakfast (Japanese or Danish) can be ordered no later than 4 PM the day before. Breakfast is not included in the price and is paid on-site with either MobilePay or cash.

Right next to the seaside resort of Bandholm is this cozy half-timbered house, which previously belonged to the Knuthenborg estate. Here you can relax with the family and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, including the nearby forest, where wild boars live. The house, built in 1776, exudes the old days in the countryside. At the same time, here are the most sought-after modern amenities (WiFi, heat pump, dishwasher and charging box for the electric car). If you need quiet days in a soulful place, then Bondehuset in Bandholm is the place.

Kitchen with stove, refrigerator, freezer, and dishwasher. 3 bedrooms (1 double bed (160x200), 2 single beds (80x200), 2 single beds (75x150 +75 and 75x180), one is for children only) Daybed in living room (90 x 200). Bathroom with shower. Extra fridge in the large shed. Garden with terraces, covered terrace, sandbox. Garden furniture. Electricity is charged.

Originally listed as a horse stable in 1832, this building is now converted into a charming home with its own kitchen and toilet. Perfect for a weekend getaway or a stop along the way on the bike holiday. On the ground floor you will find an open plan kitchen and living room in one, with access to a private terrace as well as a bathroom. On the first floor there is a spacious room with four single beds and a view of the sea from one end of the room. The home must be left in the same condition as upon arrival.

Our lovely cottage was erected and built in 2005, as a family project between two brothers and our respective families. New floors, sanitation, beds and more new furniture in spring 2025. The house sits front row to Avnø Fjord, with direct access to the salt meadow and coast, and lovely views of the fjord. Nature is close: hares and pheasants often pass by. The fjord is shallow and good for SUP, canoe and kayak. Outside: a fire pit and outdoor games. Inside: a wood stove, board games and a well-equipped kitchen.

Dogs are allowed, however, a maximum of 2. Can run freely on the entire property by arrangement. Smoking in the house is not allowed; it must take place outdoors.
