Formally a fortified castle “Fort de La Bastide “ was constructed on the site of a Roman military station. The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. The fort has maintained many original features including the old stone staircase at the front door leading up to a 4 bedroomed loft apartment . There is full access to the large garden including an 10mx4m in-ground heated swimming pool .

Forget your worries in our spacious and bright house located on a wooded garden. You will occupy the 1st floor, the ground floor being the offices where we work during the week. With private parking, we are a 10-min walk from all amenities (bakery, bar-tobacconist, restaurants, pharmacy...). Central location: Gorges de l'Ardèche (about 30 minutes), Mont-Gerbier de Jonc and the source of the Loire (about 45 minutes), Montélimar (30 minutes) and the pretty villages of Coiron (15 minutes)

For Provence lovers, for wine amateurs, nature and culture lovers, Lovely Apartment (40 m2) located in the heart of the Cru classified Cairanne vineyard . Perfect starting point of walks and excursions : Mont Ventoux, Dentelles de Montmirail, Provençal villages (Seguret, Rasteau…), Vaison-la-Romaine (15 mins along a nice little road through the wineyards) and Avignon ( 45 mins).
