Vacation rentals in Vogogna

Gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung mit der Möglichkeit, einen großen Garten zu nutzen. Hunde willkommen. Ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in der Umgebung. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Jill's Chalet Boden is a real gem. The space was comfortable with everything we needed, and plenty of space for 4 people. The views were all beautiful, ranging from picturesque views of the wooded hill to breathtaking views of the mountains and the town in the valley below. The town is cute without being touristy, and the townspeople are very friendly. There's a lot to do within driving distance. Milan and Lake Come are a little over an hour away. Lago Maggiore, along with a couple of smaller and less touristy, though no less beautiful, lakes are a 15 minute drive. I only have two caveats. First, it's not handicapped accessible. The path to the house from the road, while short and not particularly arduous, would be unnavigable for my 87 year old mother, which is a shame as she would absolutely adore this place. You also need a car. Public transportation isn't really an option. But if you can walk reasonably well and have a car, Chalet Boden is amazing. A week wasn't enough.

Die Wohnung ist ruhig und wunderschön gelegen. Rafaaela ist eine sehr herzliche und hilfsbereite Person und eine hervorragende und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin. Da wir kein Auto hatten, hat sie uns sogar noch zwei Fahrräder organisiert. Die Wohnung ist tiptop. man kan einfach kochen in einer komplett ausgestatten Küche. Das Bad ist neu, modern und sehr sauber. Allerdings braucht man wirklich ein Auto oder einen anderen fahrbaren Untersatz, wenn man etwas in der Gegend unternehmen will. Vielen Dank, Raffaela, für das tolle Urlaubserlebnis!

Am wichtigsten sind Rucksäcke-um die Lebensmittel transportieren zu können… das Haus liegt an einem alten Fußweg, welcher steil (ca.30hm) zum Haus hinaufführt. Man kann bis zum Lago Maggiore sehen, ein Wanderweg zu den verschiedenen Alpen führt direkt am Haus vorbei. Die Matratzen sind gut, die Sanitäranlagen ebenso, das untere 2.te WC ist etwas beengt durch die Waschmaschine. Dank des Kamins kann man es sich auch bei etwas kühleren Tagen gemütlich machen. Holz muss von weiter oben am Weg geholt werden. Die Lage ist abgeschieden, mit Auto kann man aber problemlos viele Ausflüge - in die verschiedenen Täler, an die unterschiedlichen Seen, zur Zugfahrt ins Vergozatal oder zum Samstagsmarkt nach Domodossola machen. Eine Gästemappe mit Infos zu Müll, WLAN, Restauranttipps o.ä.fehlt noch. Die Gastgeber sind aber jederzeit mobil für Fragen zu erreichen. Die Lage ist für Natur- und Wanderfreunde sehr zu empfehlen, weniger für Freunde des ausgesprochenen Badeurlaubs. Wir waren 2 Paare-ideal!

Laura war sehr zuvorkommend und hat schnrll auf Nachrichten reagiert. Kurzfristige habe ich auch noch eine Freundin mit ihrem Hund zur Buchung zufügen dürfen. Als wir ankamen merkten wir, dass es keine 2 Einzelzimmer gab, was uns aus Dauer jedoch zu eng wurde. Laura hat ohne zu zögern den Aufpreis zurück erstattet. Das Haus war sehr sauber und gemütlich und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Ausblick auf den See von Mergozzo und auf die Berge ist atemberaubend. Danke für diesen schönen Aufenthalt

This place was just what I was looking for. I wanted some time in the country away from the hustle of Milan. Since I didn’t have a car, Laurentiu picked me up from the Domodossola train station and at the end of the trip his wife drove me back which was very kind of them. This is a great base for those who have a car, but even without a car I was able to walk over to the small but pleasant grocery store which is less than a 2 minute walk away and prepare meals at home in the Airbnb kitchen which has everything to cook, all pots and pans, stovetop and oven (even has espresso machine). I was able to hike on the trails behind the property. They aren’t listed on a map as official trails, but they do exist and can be found with Peakvisor app or just walk to Alpe Castello (can search this on web for directions) and a trail starts from that point which links to others. The owners are so nice and have such a beautiful family, they are always available to make your stay comfortable.
