Difficult to describe , must be experienced ! It was simply magical ! It was spacious and plenty of room for all of us :) got a very cozy cabin feeling. With everything you need to do some. We will definitely come back ! A great host and an unforgettable stay ☺️

Easy to communicate, nice house

Super charming house, stylishly decorated, functional and well equipped kitchen. Very quiet location. Grocery store a few nets away.

An older and cozy house in rural surroundings. Nicely refurbished and well equipped. Also suitable for families. Perfect location to do some of the many walks in the area. Very nice hostess, good communication.

Basile and Ingeborg are very attentive. Contact is very easy and warm and communication is very good. Their two dogs are extremely kind and friendly, our males didn't get along, but that was no problem. They were also present when my dog had a health issue and I can't thank them enough. I really had a great time. The day I return to Norway, it will definitely be at their place. Thanks!

We completely enjoyed our time in Stanevik and especially in Trines house. Absolutely perfekt.

Thank you so much for a lovely stay at my grandmother's house and the sensory garden. Incredibly thoughtful "great-grandmother" style and a lovely garden. Great fit for 6 people. Perfect place to have afternoon tea as Nina has lots of nice cottage dishes and nice tea dishes. Clean, tidy and well set up for rental. Peaceful and rural location.

Spacious kitchen and living room, everything needed was available. Nice view over Skanevik fjord. We also did the roadtrip suggested by Frode, it was very scenic and beautiful.

We had a good stay at Lene's place. The apartment is clean and very comfortable. The resort itself is private with beautiful surrounding. It is close to Røldal Skisenter and only 25 drive to Odda. It was really a cozy stay :)

Good communication from Karsten about check in details. Nice place and lovely garden.

Very nice, would love to come back another time

We had a great time to the cabin. The cabin is very comfortable, warm and modern. We was unlucky with the snow, the sky center was closed, but enough snow for the kids:-). We definitely recommend this place. Ingrid was very helpful, great communication. We hope to be back again!

Another excellent stay in this super Airbnb! Eli-Jorun is the perfect host and we really enjoyed our week! SO many kind touches like Easter sweets for our granddaughter, plenty of toys etc makes this our favourite place to stay when in Sauda. I also got to borrow a mix master and cake tin to bake a birthday cake. Thank you for a fabulous stay and we will be back! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Very much enjoyed our stay at Anders and Torhild's. The apartment is equipped with every comfort, looks beautiful and has a beautiful location. Close to a bay where you can swim, paddleboard, hike and sail. Anders and Torhild were very friendly. Really a place to go back to again. And then for a longer period.

The place was very nice. The house was clean, tidy and well equipped and the surroundings are very quiet with beautiful nature. You have a great view of the water. I'd love to come back.

This place was quite perfect in every way. Tatsiana was a marvelous and charming host, the view was incredible, the serenity was incredible, the place was very comfortable, and it just felt so very relaxing. This had special meaning because back in the 1800s my family used to own property next door and it was wonderful to reconnect with those roots and Tatsiana helped make some of those connections. We really enjoyed our interaction with her. We will definitely be back.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Arriving in a foreign country after 2 days drive and being at home is mainly due to great hosts like Lillian and Stein. Rarely have we met such nice people who go out of their way, offer 110% service and are fully helpful. The communication was great, we received an answer to all questions without exception and always very quickly. We had a great time at your wonderful home on the fjord. We stayed there for a weekend. It was 2 families with small children. We never seen children playing so much outside. Amazing place, with great surroundings, friendly neighborhood. Very clean house, nothing extra-just all you need you have there. That is a house from the dream or journals.

A beautifully located holiday home right on the fjord. Everything was clean and tidy. We felt very comfortable. We had three very nice weeks in Skånevik.

Staying at Erland's cabin felt like being welcomed by family. From our first inquiry, Erland was incredibly responsive, helping with everything from navigating to Sydnesøya to settling in and exploring the area. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and full of cozy charm. We loved the decks and outdoor spaces, perfect for dining al fresco and soaking in the serene surroundings. The cozy greenhouse became my favorite spot for reading and unwinding. We enjoyed exploring by boat and kayak, and easily catching fish off the docks or at local spots. The kids loved wandering the island and watching ferries pass by. Our week here was peaceful and rejuvenating, offering the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. We cherished every moment and can't wait to return!

We spent 3 nights at Torhild`s place, and it was unforgettable. The house is located on the beautiful fjord, and you have a stunning view from the terrace. The house is well equipped, you will find everything you need in the kitchen. Torhild kindly shared hiking recommendations in the area with us. Highly recommend!

This place provides the perfect authentic Norwegian cabin experience, without the need for a long hike in, but still with plenty of great hiking options all around the surrounding areas! The cabin is extremely cosy and the view onto the lake is spectacular. It was so lovely being able to sit outside, take a swim in the lake and enjoy the serenity and peacefulness of the location. The sauna is an added bonus! We absolutely loved our stay, and highly recommend it for anyone who doesn’t mind a more rustic and disconnected experience. :) Looking forward to returning!
