Casa Perla, Policoro (MT), Mar Ionio

I spent 3 beautiful days in Policoro at Mrs. Margherita's house. Very kind host, ready to meet all my needs. In particular, Mrs. Margherita was asked for a kindness that I will not mention for privacy. She met the request without batting an eye. Very empathetic and very helpful lady. What can I say about Mr. Mimmo, who welcomed us as if we had known each other forever. Mr. Mimmo made us find the apartment impeccably. During the stay, he offered us two baskets of organic fruit, probably from his land. The peaches and apricots are delicious. He also offered us a bottle of wine from his vineyards...what a treat. The location of the apartment is right in the center and is equipped with all the comforts. Surely if I have to go back to Policoro, I will go back to this apartment. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

An outdoor kitchen area features a stone barbecue with a traditional brick oven, complemented by a wooden log stack. Natural stone walls and a rustic sink provide an inviting touch. A green lawn is visible through a doorway, with patio furniture hinted at in the background.

Villa Franca

Castelluccio house This is a comfortable, roomy house in a beautiful green setting. It has large windows and a big front patio, full of flowers, overlooking the mountains and the valley below. It’s in a totally quiet rural setting, only 10 minutes drive into town. It’s one of the most peaceful settings we’ve stayed; it was wonderful to sleep so deeply. One issue to be aware of is the heating system (it was still chilly when we were there in early May). It’s good if you are familiar with making fires in a fireplace or wood stove, as this actually heats water pipes that control the radiators in the rest of the house. This is a property that shows the care and love of the owners, and the host is very responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An unforgettable stay! Francesca is an exceptional, attentive and passionate host, and this is reflected in every detail of her accommodation. The apartment was very clean, tidy and welcoming, immediately conveying a feeling of comfort and care. Communication with Francesca was fast, clear and always available: all our questions were answered very quickly, with great kindness and professionalism. We had no problems, and we felt cared for and pampered throughout our stay. It's clear how much Francesca cares about making her guests feel at home. If we need housing in the future, we already know that the first person we will contact will be you. Thank you so much Francesca, you were fantastic! 🌟

A very nice, well equipped small house with two large bathrooms and two bedrooms. Very suitable for a longer stay, also with family! From the bedroom you have a view of the sea, the beach is within five minutes walking distance, the residential area is pleasantly quiet. The hosts are super friendly, even provided for breakfast!

A place surrounded by the unspoiled nature of the pollen, a beautiful house for those who want relaxation and tranquility, about a half hour by car but a nice place to relax and regenerate, Enza was super welcoming and kind, upon arrival she made us find a delicious cake!!!! highly recommended!!!!
A terrace area features terracotta tile flooring, bordered by potted plants including cacti and palms. In the center, a statue adds a decorative touch, while a view of hills and the coastline is visible in the background, contributing to a serene outdoor environment.

Dreaming in the village

The host (who is actually Sonia and not Pasquale) was impeccable and helpful. The apartment is small but comfortable for three people. Unfortunately, the bathroom is not equipped with a bidet, an accessory that we are not used to giving up, while understanding that the space really did not allow it. Great cleanliness and quality of furnishings and amenities. The location is strategic halfway between the famous castle and the center of the village.

Green house

Everything was perfect! If I could give higher than five stars I would. Oriolo is a beautiful town full of friendly, courteous and welcoming people. We looked forward everyday to returning to the town after touring around. The house and grounds were beautiful and peaceful. We had everything we needed to be comfortable. The house was right on the edge of town so we could easily walk to a restaurant or bar, or to a store to buy fresh food. Giuseppina and her family were great hosts. They communicated promptly and ensured a smooth check in. They greeted us warmly, helped us get settled in and made themselves available during our stay. We would love to return to Oriolo someday and stay at Giuseppina’s again.
