A beautiful secluded place by a lake. The house is very comfortable and you are in good reach of their family if you need anything! We booked last minute and Caroline responded within 15 minutes. We got a bit lost and arrived after sun down and she offered home cooked food and a delicious banana cake! Their family is very welcoming and friendly and offered to share their kids toys with our young child. Definitely would recommend to go there if you want to stay away from noise and be in a secluded paradise!

Clean, quiet space and very close to Amieira beach. Recommendation! We'll be back for sure soon.

Had a wonderful stay with family and friends. Perfect to share with friends and their children. Such a beautiful villa and the grounds were perfect! The views were incredible and a lovely, responsive host! If only the weather could have been better for us! Would definitely visit again!

This is an absolutely gorgeous villa to stay in! The salt water pool was perfect and set in beautiful landscaped gardens. The house is well equipped and spacious. Ideal if you want a week just relaxing!

Great house located within walking distance to the beach and local restaurants. Air conditioning in every room, fully equipped kitchen and 3 toilets each with a shower/bath. Owner answers questions very quickly and was very welcoming. Very quiet area with plenty of parking right next to the house. Recommend for anyone visiting Altura, will definitely rent again in the future.

We loved it!! It was a great weekend! A charming little house with lots of charm and pieces of history in every corner. The outer space, the authenticity of the environment, the decoration and the soul of the house... it is impossible not to recommend!! Impeccable cleanliness and well-equipped kitchen. Jonathan & Sandra were fantastic hosts. swift and responsive from first enquiry to check out. very considerate hosts, gave local recommendations and provided flexibility. . Everything we needed there, and assistance was available through Greet who met us on arrival and departure and kindly brought additional equipment (scales and large mixer) to us to bake cakes, even bringing extra games suitable for our disabled child. Discreet and also available for anything we needed. The villa was beautiful, the surroundings and grounds breathtaking. Shops a 5 minute drive and all we wanted to see was within 30 minutes, although mainly stayed in and soaked up the serene magic of this location. we didn't hire a car, we used Uber which was easy, reasonable and straightforward. 5 euros to the local supermarket, 15-20 euros to the mar shopping complex, 25 euros to Tavira. An incredible place, wonderful hosts and a firm favourite with our family. thank you so much for everything. ❤

We four friends had a very nice time in this fantastic house and found exactly what we were looking for: sunrise, sunset, a view of the vastness of the mountains, absolute peace... The pool was my joy despite my injured leg! The house is furnished with great attention to detail, which also contributed to our relaxation! Thank you also for the friendly and helpful contact! After our vacation in Madeira was canceled due to a forest fire, we never thought we would find such beautiful accommodation at the last minute. We would love to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Even with bad weather the pool is warm and the setting is wonderful. We will book again in a sunnier month!

Perfect house in the countryside to the east of Lisbon, near a small Sao Cristovao village where you absolutely have to stop for lunch or dinner, the restaurants are excellent. The house is spacious ideal for groups of friends with children. The views of the countryside are clear and the terraced spaces are pleasant. The owners and the housekeeper are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We highly recommend!

One of the most beautiful Airbnbs we have ever stayed in! I couldn't recommend it enough and hope to return. The space is even better than the photos, with each apartment having their own kitchenette & bathroom. The backyard was incredible and made for an amazing space to spend time with family. The property manager, Ines, was extremely welcoming and responsive. If you're considering renting Casa Bela Vida - it's a must!

Adelino is a superb host and his villa is amazing. Extremely responsive and was able to answer any questions right away. Very spacious, clean, private and comfortable. The smell of fresh rosemary every morning in the beautiful garden was an added bonus. Close drive to grocery and restaurants. Coast line and Albufeira just 30 mins drive as well. Would highly recommend.

Such a relaxing and peaceful stay at this property, it was just what we needed coming from a big city. It is absolutely private and you will never encounter other people or hear traffic. The views are fabulous. The pool and garden area is lovely and we spent a lot of time outside lounging. Sandrine and Joao were super responsive. There was an issue with the power grid in the area which they kept us informed about at all times.

Casa Oliveira was really beyond our expectations. From its incredibly well appointed kitchen with every imaginable utensil to the immaculate bathrooms with really great showers and sparkling white towels. During our long stay, even when the weather didn't cooperate, it was so much more comfortable than if we would have stayed in a hotel. We highly recommend Casa Oliveira if you're just a couple, like us, or a family needing multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. On a clear day the views are spectacular. We would definitely stay there again.

We stayed as a group of two families, 4 adults, 4 older children and a toddler. The villa was absolutely perfect for our group. The neighbourhood is quiet and the villa feels very safe with electric gates all around. The villa is beautifully decorated in Portuguese style, with really comfortable furniture. The pool was amazing, bigger than we expected and we couldn't keep the kids out of it! The nearby beach is approx a 5 min walk, its an unspoilt, quiet, sandy beach. The communication from Rui and Francisco was great, they were very responsive and gave us lots of helpful recommendations. We found the local restaurants either closed our overpriced, but a short drive to Tavira, Monte Gordo and over the border in Spain were some great places to eat. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Incredible space with plenty of rooms, each with its own charms. Well-equipped kitchen and spaces to eat inside, on the patio, or by the pool (looks green in photos but only because of yellow tiles!). Whenever something wasn’t working our hosts were super kind and helpful - thank you for making us feel so welcome in your home! Off-road parking was available but we found it easy to use taxis to reach nearby towns. Just outside Sao Brás so there were restaurants and shops nearby but it felt secluded and away from noise.

This villa is absolutely stunning! Amazing views and very clean. Had a lovely stay here . And the perfect holiday with my wife and our three children. Can not fault it in any way. Highly recommended

We had a perfect stay at Villa Eltael! The house was exactly as described—spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The beds were great, and the whole place felt calm and cozy, ideal for a relaxing family holiday. The heated pool was a fantastic addition and made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is great—quiet and peaceful, but close to everything you need (supermarket, restaurants, etc) and still within walking distance to the beach. We were also pleasantly surprised by how well-equipped the house was. All the essentials were provided—from coffee, laundry and dishwashing detergents, to even charcoal for the barbecue. It made everything so easy and convenient. João and Sívila were outstanding hosts! Their warm welcome, excellent communication, and flexibility with check-in made us feel completely at home. Their hospitality truly made our stay unforgettable. We wish we could have stayed longer and will certainly come back soon. Totally recommend this place!

The house is as described. In a quiet area where no neighbors were bothered. The pool and great barbecue. Good treatment and prompt in replying to messages. Departure flexibility as they did not wait for anyone on the day of departure. Thank you so much. We'll be back.

We had a fantastic time at Annick's place which provided everything we needed for 4 adults and 3 teenagers. The home was well equipped and very comfortable and the outside space was incredible. The 12m pool was a real joy but also lots of outside seating arrangements to be in the sun or the shade. The views were beautiful day and night and it felt very private and secluded. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

House with 1 bedroom on the ground floor and 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor, quiet, close to restaurants and the beach. The house had all the necessary utensils and amenities for a pleasant and quiet stay. The host was very helpful, and provided all the necessary information for the operation of the house and tips for restaurants and places to visit. The pool is great.

Armando and Andrea were the most perfect hosts, especially the hostess, with both the rigour of the Germans and a love heart for life!Her room layout is very cozy, the details are very delicate, the hostess's taste is everywhere, we love this place so much, wonderful everything!We will be back!
