Your surroundings: Just a few kilometers from the Dutch border lies Nettetal with the district Hinsbeck. Hinsbeck and the neighboring Leuth form a state-recognized resort from Nettetal. It is the heart of the Maas-Schwalm-Nette International Nature Park. It offers a typical Lower Rhine landscape with 12 lakes, 70 km of cycling and 145 km of hiking trails. The landscape-typical, original flora and fauna can be admired in lovingly maintained natural protection facilities. Supermarket and bakery in walking distance. The highway 61 can be reached in about 8 km. Kaldenkirchen train station 7 is about km away. From there you can get directly via the Dutch border to Venlo and also in the other direction directly to Düsseldorf. Your home: The first floor of our detached house is your personal oasis of well-being for the duration of your stay. Since the summer of 2001 we have been happy to welcome our guests, who include everyone from the family with children to nature lovers to the assembly worker, who moves to Nettetal and the surrounding area. Our apartment offers about 60 m² of space for up to 4 people in 2 separate double rooms. Between the Geropark and the historic city wall, right on the Abteiberg, is the small but nice apartment. “The Place to be,” in the most beautiful part of the old town. Stay on a Lower Rhine farm in our small, cozy accommodation. The apartment is bright and friendly and built with natural building materials. A terrace for morning coffee, or an evening glass of wine is waiting for you. The picnic meadow in the shade of the trees is a place where children can romp carefree. Our farm is located in the countryside and invites you to take walks along the Niers. We are therefore not easily accessible by public transport.

The rooms (38 m2) are on the 2nd floor of the house. The apartment is not self-contained. It consists of a large living/bedroom, kitchen, storage room and bathroom. Everything is available for self-catering. Washing machine and dryer can be used for a small fee. For personal reasons, I only rent the apartment to female guests and couples. In exceptional cases, more than 2 people possible at an extra cost. Reservations only with ID verified.

The accommodation for up to 2 guests on the top floor is located in a residential area with inner city periphery adjacent to a park near the YAYLA Arena in Krefeld. The location of the accommodation is central and quiet, in the neighborhood there are small and local supply stores (baker, butcher, pharmacy, supermarket). The accommodation is a good starting point to discover the region of the Lower Rhine with its sights.

Hof Michiels (Apartment 2)

Our lovingly restored apartments are located in a former barn of our organic farm. The approximately 300-year-old farm is located in the middle of the Maas-Schwalm-Nette Nature Park. In the immediate vicinity is Lake Borner and Lake Harik. We cultivate permanent pasture with a suckler cow herd, consisting of approx. 20 animals that spend the summer in the pastures. Our farm is home to our friendly dog named Costa.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. This small apartment has satellite TV, sockets with USB connection, a cozy bed and a comfortable sofa bed. The kitchenette is well equipped to prepare a small meal and towels, shower gel, shampoo are included in the basic equipment. Some coffee and tea pads are available. End the day on the small terrace or on the alpaca meadow.
