Family-friendly vacation rentals in Victoria

We had a lovely time at Victor’s place with my family for a week’s holiday in April. Had the chance to explore the local area whilst using the house as a base. 10/10 house, lovely place to relax with everything we needed.

Loved the house and location, had a 360 view of the sea from the roof terrace. The children enjoyed their time in the swimming pools. Had all the amenities needed for a home away from home. The cleaner and owner were very helpful and accommodating to our family and we really appreciate that.

Twilight is a lovely villa, tucked away along a quiet lane but a quiet and beautiful walk away from two Lighthouse supermarkets. There’s also a lovely restaurant on the church square in San Lawrenz. Having an en suite each was great. Wi-Fi was fast and worked well by the pool. Aircon was excellent. The pool was the best feature of the house… the pool terrace is lovely, gets the sun all day and that view! Also we were always able to find shade… didn’t use the hot tub as it was so hot but a great addition for cooler months. Take bug spray we all got a few bites. We also bought a citronella candle for evenings. Great communication from Kevin, nothing too much trouble.

We had a great stay with 10 people. Rooms where nice and clean with large living room, dining room and kitchen. Most of all loved the large and deep pool that most other places did not offer with max depth of 2,4m. We also liked the grill area that we used in the evening to make food and sit outside. Only small complaint would be the pool man being there a bit early and making noice before 8 am (might be just a light sleeper problem) and the hair dryers did not work.

We had a fantastic stay at Antoinette's place. The flat was exactly as described, very clean and the outdoor pool area was fantastic. It was ideal for the kids and we all had plenty of space. The flat was brilliantly located for getting to the beach at Mellieha and for buses around the island. Antoinette was really helpful, lots of great recommendations and was always responsive. Highly recommend.

Great house! Spacious, beautiful, and equipped with everything a family could need. The kids especially enjoyed the pool, swimming every day! The location is fantastic. Just a five-minute drive away, there's a great beach with a restaurant where we had lunch several times. There’s also a pizzeria and a store with all the essentials just a few minutes away. Lewis was amazing, considerate and attentive. Communication was immaculate and super supportive he’s the best Airbnb host I have had, the place was just as amazing as the apartment itself, definitely worth the price and much more.

The apartment is in a great location in my favourite place in Malta, super outside space for relaxing and enjoying the views of Spinola Bay You have an amazing choice of superb restaurants right on your doorstep. Would definitely return. Thank you Moritz mum and I had a fabulous relaxing stay.

From the time of booking, communication with Tina was excellent – fast, helpful and with many useful tips (e.g. restaurant list). When we opened the balcony door, the breathtaking view of Valletta immediately impressed us. The location is ideal: ferries and buses are directly opposite, supermarket, restaurants and bars nearby. From the balcony you have a great view of the promenade of Sliema, and yet it is quiet in the apartment – the bedrooms are at the back. If we travel to Malta again, we would book this apartment again in a heartbeat. Small note: For Malta, you need an adapter for British sockets (type G).

Pawlu's apartment is exactly as shown in his photographs. It's a large place with two double bedrooms and one twin bedded room. There is AC in all 3 bedrooms although we didn't need it as the apartment has double window curtains that keep the place cool. The place felt like a home and it was a very comfortable experience. Five minutes away is the HONEY CORNER which is your best daily supermarket. There are numerous top class, reasonably priced restaurants in Marsaskala. The local bus system is generally reliable although the roads and pavements are a little unkempt! There is a steep climb from Marsaskala upto your apartment but you can avoid this by walking around to the Sant Antnin Park and walking past the Honey Corner shop, although a longer walk, it is more doable! One of the best, affordable Airbnb places to rent, next to a beautiful harbour on the south side of Malta. You won't be disappointed.

This apartment is amazing, we really enjoyed our stay here. Very spacious with everything you could wish for including a fabulous view of the harbour from the front balcony. A good base to explore Malta. We especially enjoyed going to St Thomas's Bay which is very close. The owners are lovely people and make sure you are happy and comfortable. A true gem for your stay in Malta!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Robert's place. The location is great for access to both the old town and the ferry, with great views out of the balcony area. The apartment has homely vibes and Robert was very generous in stocking us up with beverages and snacks on arrival which was much appreciated. Would recommend!

My partner and I had the best time at Sim's property. It is a beautiful flat, spacious and comfortable. Sim's recommendations were spot on and not like anything we had seen before - his level of detail in the information he sent before check in was unheard of. We are very happy to have stayed at Sim's flat and definitely recommend it!

We had a great time at Lucy's place. The location is ideal for visiting the 3 cities, and close to the ferry to get to Valletta. The house is typical Maltese, very charming and the street is nice and quiet. The roof terrace is a plus, very pleasant to enjoy the evenings. It is easy to park nearby. Lucy is also a very responsive host and available to answer any questions. Lucy provides a binder with all the necessary recommendations for a great stay: restaurants, beaches, places to visit, etc. Adapters are also available in her home for European outlets. We highly recommend Lucy and her accommodation for a stay in Malta!

Great stay at Ian’s place - really good location, clean and modern apartment - Ian’s communications and instructions were first class - would highly recommend.

This was our second stay at Marthese's place, and we just love it. Perfect for a quiet week of relaxation, always spotless and comfortable, and the smart TV is a great new addition if you want a quiet night in while you're there! Thanks Marthese!

it was lovely, the photos don’t give it enough justice. Really big, modern. Host was really helpful and arranged transport from the airport to the Airbnb. Would recommend to anyone visiting Malta. The accomodation made our trip. Such a beautiful area and Ubers really reasonable to get to and from places

A truly fantastic home and an equally fantastic host in Anton! We, a family of 8, made up of children, parents and grandparents, have just had the most amazing stay in Anton’s beautiful home. The house is even better than the photos suggest, a real wow factor as you walk in. It comes nicely furnished with very comfortable beds and furniture, and the house is equipped extremely well with everything you could possibly need. Each room has its own character and charm, then you step outside into pool area and garden and the wow factor continues! We spent a lot of time here, it’s an amazing space and so private. The location in Xaghra is ideal with a few minutes stroll to the village square, a little gem filled with enough varied cafés, bars and small restaurants to keep all tastes satisfied. I must say Al Sale stood out. Then there’s Anton, who greeted and took time to show us around explaining how everything works. He’s the best host I’ve encountered, a friendly, kind and funny gentleman.

We had a very nice stay at Victor’s farmhouse in Xhagra. The location must be one of the closest to Ramla Bay that are available as vacation rentals. The beach can even be reached by a nice walk (when it’s not too hot). The shortest drive to the neighboring village Nadur actually passes through Ramla Bay. The house itself is beautiful, cozy, has all that’s needed for a family or group vacation, has a nice pool and BBQ, and last but not least you can see the Mediterranean from the house. One potential issue for guests who are sensitive to noise from neighbors (or worries about own noise), while the walls are thick, they are not sound proof, so we could hear some noise from the neighbors at times. Overall a very respectful and quiet neighborhood, however. Victor was a great host and always available with friendly support when needed (like asking for extra sheets etc.)

We had a pleasant stay at Janina and Simon's place. The apartment is superb, very well-equipped. The environment is quiet and the area is really very nice. Janina and Simon are very responsive and the messages are always very friendly. We are delighted with our stay. We would recommend it without hesitation.

Beautiful place to stay! we are so grateful with hot indoor pool because it was windy & cold days when we stayed here so unable to enjoy the outdoor pool with the breahtaking view of surrounding Gozo. kids love the Cinema! highly recommended it

We had a fantastic holiday at the apartment and we didn’t want to come home. The apartment was huge and had everything we needed. Our 3 year old son loved zooming around the apartment and the space outside and the pool was perfect. Alison was the best host ever, such a lovely person and gave us great recommendations which we really appreciated. She had left plenty of essential groceries for our arrival which was super duper helpful, and even brought us an amazing pizza on our last night too. The location is so handy for shops and we could walk with a pram to restaurants nearby. We found a few local parks for our son to play in within walking distance too. We can’t recommend Alison’s apartment enough, and I’m sure we will come back in the future x
