Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Victoria Falls

We were looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful to unwind. Hazel's place suited our needs. Hazel's holist retreat has beautiful surroundings. Hazel has also created different spaces to chill in house and outside the house. Hazel's accurate description of services and amenities helped us prepare and plan for our trip. The mini bar in the house was nice touch. Hazel's holist retreat exceeded our expectations. We definitely recommend Hazel's place to anyone.

We really enjoyed our stay, Sara went out of her way to help with anything we wanted from house requirements to information about Vic falls, and every tip or recommendation she made to us, was spot on. The house is set in a very lush green garden, extremely secure, private and comfortable. We enjoyed your hospitality for our short stay, and we now regret not spending more time there. This is by far the nicest location I’ve ever stayed at in the entire world. The home itself is beautiful and ideal for larger groups/families. It’s immaculately well kept, the bathrooms are clean and newly renovated, the large open concept kitchen/living area is beautifully appointed. The outdoor space is just as incredible, and well kept and looked after by the gardener and guard on staff. Sarah is truly a world class host with lots of local recommendations and comprehensive knowledge of what to do around Livingstone. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing luxurious stay with a bit of rustic charm sprinkled on top.

The place is good and quiet, we had a home away from home. It is also well secured from the gate to the house.

The room is very large and very clean!The host was very nice!The location is not far from the main street and you can take the bus directly ~ It's great that we can check in early ~

Our stay was excellent. The two-bedroom, two bathroom townhouse is modern, well decorated with updated appliances such as microwave, washing machine and new refrigerator. The internet was excellent, and this townhouse has stacked electricity so that there are outlets that will work even if the general electricity does not. This is very important in Livingstone where there are often electric outages. The townhouse is situated in a quiet part of Livingstone in a compound with a small swimming pool. Livingstone has two kinds of accommodations: one is the very expensive fancy hotels that can be easily $250 a night; or less fancy hotels that have various issues that can make your stay not so pleasant. This townhouse is a third option in that it is around the price per day of the mediocre hotels in the area, but it much nicer. Carol, the manager/maid, cleans the house and replaces towels every day and changes sheets every third day. It is like a nice hotel with cooking facilities.

I had a fantastic stay at Ethel’s place. The apartment was just what I was looking for and really comfortable. All the staff on site were so helpful and approachable and help to make the stay what it was, nothing was too much trouble and any queries were always responded too quickly. The walk into town is really easy but still with the benefit of being out of the main noise of town. The additional solar energy was a real plus for those moments when power was scarce. ( Due to the ongoing issues nationwide) so this was a real bonus. The garden area is so peaceful and well kept, and the additional housekeeping and laundry service was much appreciated. I always felt safe due to the excellent security service provided, where access was always well managed. I would definitely like to return again. This really is a unique place with lovely people. Thank you for such a great time!

My boyfriend and I decided to go to Livingstone and stay at Gloria’s. Our unit was exactly as the pictures showed and was amazing! The staff was very friendly and helpful, our breakfast was amazing, and we truly enjoyed our time there. I wish we could’ve stayed longer and would highly recommend staying here. The only issue we ran into was on Maps - make sure you go to Gloria’s Bed & Breakfast, not the address listed. Other than that we had 0 issues! The stay is quiet and about a 15-30 minute walk to the main road, however, it was exactly what we wanted.

We enjoyed our stay, and would visit again if we return to the area. Very clean and modern space with amenities and comforts

Betty is an excellent host and the staff who service and keep the Airbnb apartment secure and clean were also excellent and responsive.

Grace Neo’s place was excellent. It has nice and clean furniture. There is also backup power which helps during load shedding. There is nice showers designs, all rooms and living room have aircons. There was enough parking space. The place was excellent for me and my family

the place is great, location is amazing. and she accommodated us when we asked for extension and late check out. quick at responding and very attentive. i highly recommend this place.

Wayne's place was as beautiful, spacious, convenient and comfortable as described. Very modern with so much space inside and out, we hardly had enough time to thoroughly enjoy the townhouse ( 2 nights). We took advantage of having a Seven Eleven store across the street to buy breakfast foods and drinks ( including wine) and had an ok meal ( great service) at the Social Kitchen, also across the street. Tara and Adam, co-managers, were proactive and responsive. They arranged our airport pickup with a taxi service we continued to use throughout our stay ( Thulani with Wild Dogs). In addition to visiting the Falls, we walked from the Airbnb to town center ...a great way to see the town. The only disappointment we had was to find no soap or shampoo or body wash anywhere in the Airbnb. While we had the store across the street where we bought soap, we cannot say the place was excellently stocked as a result. We would definitely return if we find ourselves back in Vic Falls!

This property is extremely comfortable and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. They even helped to reserve massage therapists to come to the unit. Although others share the grounds it felt extremely private. Everything we needed for self catering including wood for the braai was provided. The address is wrong on the listing and confusing with coordinates only. The location was hard for local tour providers to find for pick up but you can use Pride the driver or navigate with a gps. We also had trouble getting the shower water temperature to not be only cold or only very hot. I highly recommend this property!

We had a great stay. The hosts communicated clearly and timely with us and we had no complaints about the house. Only downside is that you need a car to get around, or have organised other methods of transports beforehand.

Joan's place is beautiful ,the garden and surrounding is a little paradise.Joan is very helpful with all info you might need and goes extra mile to tip you how to cut costs in the expensive tourist town of Livingstone.I can recomend this place to anyone at anytime.

Everything was just perfect for our short stay in Vic Falls! Communication was fast and easy, check-in and out super flexible and the apartment is soo beautiful. Would always come back!

The place is very secure, guarantees privacy ,quite comfortable and luxurious. I really enjoyed my stay there and will not hesitate to recommend it to family, friends and business associates. I will visit again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Communication was excellent. The Platinum Peak team went above and beyond to welcome us, and then support us while we were there. The customer service far exceeded expectations. The apartment is exceptionally well appointed, especially the kitchen, with high end appliances. In particular we appreciated having properly functioning air conditioning in both bedrooms as well as the living space. The location is perfect. It’s in a really nice area. It’s walking distance to the town centre, probably about 30 minutes. There is a 7/11 across the road which although small, it is better stocked and in most cases cheaper than Pick and Pay. Also very convenient having a nice restaurant across the street that does fantastic milkshakes, as well as pizzas. Finally a shout out to the amazing housekeeping team. I’ve never seen such beautiful towel swans. Thank you team.
