A nosa estancia foi excelente. O aloxamento era moi cómodo, limpo e completamente equipado, polo que nos sentimos como na casa dende o primeiro momento. A cama era moi confortable e descansamos moi ben todas as noites. A ubicación era ideal, nunha zona tranquila perfecta para desconectar. Sen dúbida, un dos grandes atractivos foi a piscina: ampla, limpa e perfecta para refrescarse e relaxarse ao sol. A anfitriona foi moi atenta e amable, sempre dispoñible para calquera dúbida. Sen ningunha dúbida, repetiríamos!

Amazing space! Perfect for a few days of rest, surrounded by nature. It's exactly like the pictures. It's really worth spending a few days here. And we couldn't ask for a better hostess, super available and welcoming. We'll be back for sure!

Antonio's house is an exceptional place to enjoy a quiet atmosphere, in the middle of nature in an original and open design house. Antonio was attentive at all times and gave us very good recommendations to enjoy the surrounding villages. The house is very close to beach areas and villages in a few minutes by car.

The villa is incredible, breathtaking from the moment you step in. The photos cannot do it justice. We only made two trips out (apart from food shopping) because we had no need or want to leave. The space is fantastic and every room is beautiful. If you are interested in sports it caters for everything there is an indoor games hall which has almost everything you could desire. This includes the tennis racquets for the court. The pool is wonderful and very relaxing - if you’re lucky you’ll get visits from the swallows as we did. As mentioned by the host and a few reviews you will need a car to get there and to get around but it’s a great way to explore the area when you do decide to go out. We ran around the area, did some hill sprint sessions and also some HIIT sessions within the villa ground. You can do everything. There are also lots of great beaches around the area some of which are suggested in Fernando’s welcome book and one of the ones we visited. Fernando and Pedro were great hosts very helpful and always at the end of the phone should we require anything. Relaxed, helpful and humorous. You are also provided with a welcome book which has lots of information about things you can do, where you can go and how to do them! 5* all the way. A perfect place for a getaway with friends and I imagine family too. I don’t doubt we will be back to visit in the future.

Everything was perfect! Well-located apartment near the beach, clean and as described. Nice pool and lit from the living room, very practical. Hugo was very friendly and they made everything very comfortable for our stay with children. Thank you so much for everything!

We had a pleasant stay with my family and friends in this beautiful house. The good weather, the large swimming pool, the cleanliness and shops nearby make this place available as well as the kindness of Mrs. Teresa Costa who welcomed us very warmly, very smiling and available for anything. We loved our stay in the Quinta do Sobreiro. It’s a great spot with loads of space for a large group or families as there is ample space and things to do on site without having to leave the property. The only downside is maybe that the kitchen is functional but it is a bit tired. Overall I would recommend especially for big groups of people including kids.

I came there for the peace and trips in the area. That worked out well because the hinterland but also the coast are great for walking and cycling. The tranquility in the house and the garden are wonderful. All good quality. Everything works. Beds and chairs are good. Just a nice luxury house!

Antonio's airbnb has everything that's needed and it was clean. Antonio was very eager to help us a lot with recommandations for places to eat, surf and visit the area.

We spent a family weekend, 9 people and two dogs, the stay was magnificent, the house was perfect! There was nothing missing, everything was there, the beds were very comfortable, the garden with its fantastic pool was a delight since the weather was good, José offered us fruit from his organic garden, a great guy who was attentive to any need or suggestion we had. A 10, totally recommended. Thanks José.

We spent 4 weeks at Natalia's place in May 2025. It is a lovely, spacious, family home with character and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the sun terrace for eating outside and relaxing, reading. Large kitchen and dining room. Upstairs has a comfortable lounge area. Bedrooms were generous sizes, 2 of them have their own private bathrooms. The other 2 share a bathroom. A beautiful mature and fully fenced garden which was secure and great for our dog. Location great, 15 to 20 mins drive to the nearby towns of either Ponte de Lima or Viano Do Costello, both of which well worth spending some time exploring. Both towns have an abundance of amenities eg supermarkets, restaurants, cafes etc. We also did day trips to Porto and Braga which are 1 hour or less away by car. Within a few steps of the house you have the river Lima with beach and picnic area on its banks, and the "Ecovia" trails for walking, cycling. The setting is truly stunning. Overall, a wonderful place.

Fantastic place, so very well equipped and great location. We loved it here and would love to stay again. We had a problem with the boiler when we arrived and Marta was quick To get it working again. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Quinta do Bento Novo is a delightful and wonderful manor house and grounds, located at the edge of typical village overlooking beautiful countryside. Paulo was a perfect host. He could not have been more helpful before we arrived and was waiting to great us upon our arrival to gave us a tour around his family's ancestral home, which was greatly appreciated. Throughout our stay, he made himself available to answer our questions and help us get the most out of our stay. The house itself is wonderfully historic, spacious, and comfortable, with every facility one could need. The grounds are stunning and a joy to stroll around. I picked and ate my first (ever) orange straight from the tree, at Paulo's kind invitation (and it was delicious). Supermarkets and restaurants are within easy striking distance, as are any number of wonderfully historic sites to visit and the beach is close also. In short, we could not rate this property highly enough and plan to return as soon as we are able.

Very nice and practically furnished house with a large garden, beautifully located in the old district of Afife. We particularly liked the location and the picturesque view from the balcony over the green gardens and stone walls to the sea. The house is perfect for one or even two families who appreciate the tranquility away from the hustle and bustle. In the immediate vicinity you can buy fine fresh rolls in the morning. Other shopping opportunities and two good restaurants are within walking distance. It takes a few minutes walk to the beautiful, barely crowded beach of Afife. Our children (12 and 15 years old) were also not deterred by the cool Atlantic water and have bathed in the Rio Afife and its shallow, warmer mouth water. Thank you very much Adriana for letting us experience this beautiful place! We highly recommend the house, Afife and surroundings.

We had a great time in Afife and enjoyed our stay at Joaos place. The location was very quiet (except the Honda shop across the street in the daytime) and Afife has not much to offer, which was okay for us but should be known in advance if you plan on eating outside. Porto is great to be reached by train and the beach is very close. With 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms there’s enough space for a big group and everything was very comfortable. The pool was open already and was cleaned during our stay. The only thing which I would point out on the negative side is that when we arrived it smelled a bit mouldy, probably due to the rainy weather and the fact that 3 of the bathrooms don’t have windows. The staircase to the lower part of the house is very steep. That’s a fact you should know when travelling with small kids. Joao was perfect to contact and always responded quickly whenever there were any questions. Thanks for having us. We would totally recommend to stay at his place.

Susana and her family are perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. We had a fantastic week with our grown up and teenage sons there. The villa and outside areas are extremely spacious and so clean. With older children, this extra space was invaluable. There was even a ping pong table to keep the boys busy too! It is so well equipped overall and the outside BBQ is great. The local area is so beautiful and we used a great local surf school in the mornings. The beach is very accessible and it was good to have off street parking in the villa, as the beach is a popular local attraction so the there lots of visitors to the area during the day. But this just makes the beach more vibrant and interesting. We made full use of all the restaurants and the small local shop, where we ordered daily bread and picked up essentials. A big thank you to Susana for being so helpful and flexible throughout the week. We would highly recommend a anyone to book this holiday home.

The most charming house with lots of character within walking distance to the beach and restaurants in Afife. The house is beautiful and so is the garden and pool area. Dulce and her daughter Joana were really helpful with any requests and information needed. The house was great for kids and even came with toys and books to keep them entertained (1&3 year old). We would love to come back!

The house is located in an extraordinary setting. The pool, excellent, is in a beautiful garden. Emilia is very considerate, welcoming and very kind.

The house of Aldara and her family was wonderful. The garden with the pool is a paradise. Everything very clean and the absolute tranquility of the countryside. The pool and garden are cleaned daily. Aldara and her father were always available and insanely nice, helpful and hospitable. We were there for almost 3 weeks and felt at home. We have absolutely nothing to complain about and will definitely be back. Thanks for a great and relaxing vacation🇵🇹❣️
