Wide apartment in the center of Vernazza, the heart of the Cinque Terre National Park, consisting of a living room, a little terrace with a spectacular seaview, double room and a bathroom. The apartment owns one of the few terraces that faces the main square in Vernazza, which is right on the little harbour. It is near to the train station (200 metres) and there are just a few steps to reach the apartment. The beach, shops, bars and restaurants are just a few steps away.
“Marcella’s apartment exceeded my expectations! There is a well stocked kitchen area with a table to eat at connected to the living room. In the living room there are 2 sofas that can be used as beds (twin size) as well as a rocking chair. The bedroom is separate with a closet and a queen sized comfortable bed. Then up a couple of stairs is a bathroom with a shower. The most amazing part of this apartment is the balcony directly overlooking the main square in Vernazza!!! Two huge glass doors open to a small balcony. You can still fit two of the chairs from the kitchen out there to drink some coffee in the morning or wine at night. You look out of the fishing boats in the square with the ocean just to the left. It in on the lower level and from what I could see the only balcony that close to the square. Such great people watching!”
The Emerald Suite offers a refined and friendly environment. The furnishings move between the charm of tradition and the quiet of the most modern design. Each element is designed and created with the utmost attention to detail. The Suite overlooks the sea, giving visitors a view of extraordinary beauty. The windows frame the beach and the sea of Vernazza creating precious, unforgettable views.
“This gem of a little suite is run by lovely people with both excellent taste in decor and great people skills. The view of the beach from the living room/lounge window is exactly as photographed and you can hear the waves whenever the window is open. If you close the windows, it is silent. There is AC even in October if you need it. The suite is pretty with unusual decorative touches including gorgeous turquoise floor tiles. It has a very elegant and modern bathroom that is sparkling clean. The bed was comfy and firm. But the rooftop terrace cannot be missed. 360 degree views, sun beds and other furniture make it a cool place to hang out. Good buffet breakfast across the square. And Federico is a truly friendly man who communicates effectively and met us at the train to guide us and help with luggage. There are lots of stairs but that is Vernazza. Don’t go if you cannot manage a metal spiral staircase but we are in our 60s and were okay. Five stars from us! We hope to be back and will book this room again if we can.”
Cadudria: an house recently renovated in the center of Vernazza. This building is perfect located, a few of stairs from the restaurants, train station and beach built at the beginning ot the footpath on the way to Corniglia. The second double bed is a sofa bed that remains in the living room. Please advise us in time in case you need separate beds or we ll prepair just a double :)
“Our updated and clean apartment with a lovely view of the main walkway from the train station to the ocean was right below our balcony and the white church above was a great sight. The church bells ringing are beautiful and quaint. It helped that it was near the train station and a five-minute walk. Andrea met my husband at the apartment. The kitchen was basically stocked, and it had a great washer. The clothes will take longer to dry as it’s more humid being by the sea, so plan accordingly. One caveat is for anyone with limited mobility or have any other physical limitations, there are many, many steep stairs to climb to the apartment. You can arrange and pay for a porter to take up your luggage at the shop in the train station. The bed was comfortable, shower very small, good kitchen table and large fridge. The trains can be heard early in the morning and late at night, but it’s not as bad as comparison to loud traffic elsewhere in large cities.”
