La Comuna de Dos Amates is a cabin in the humid tropical rainforest of Los Tuxtlas, Veracruz. Located in the town of Dos Amates, 11 km (7 miles) from Catemaco. To get to the cabin, you have to go down a lot of steps in a ravine; it is recommended to be in good physical condition. The cabin is a one-story wooden structure. It has a living room, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom, bathroom, and a sofa bed. It is ideal for travelers who like nature, as Dos Amates is surrounded by mountains, lagoons, waterfalls, and the ocean.
