Cozy cabin in the mountains of La Rumorosa

KatherynRating, 5 stars14 months ago
This place is dreamy, a rustic getaway yet comfortable. We visited during a storm, we didn’t loose power and we were warm despite being 38F/3-4 C• which was crazy. We did bring extra blankets and that was helpful because it was 7 of us and my mom didn’t feel comfortable having the fireplace on through the night but if that’s not your case you should be totally fine. My mom was happy and she’s never usually happy with things, it was the perfect getaway for us. The restaurants are nearby, local attractions are nearby, the space had plenty of room for the kids - it was great and I’m grateful we visited. We hope we can come back again during the summer to be able to stargaze more. Also shout out to Juana María who was always ready to help when we had questions and to Rosa who answered all my questions.

Ranch in nature

CarlosRating, 5 stars108 months ago
Definitely our best stay at the Yucatan, and we're old people-it's our fourth trip on the peninsula. The treatment of Jimy, the manager, was great; Maria's availability was excellent. There was nothing missing, the collection of nature guides for craving, for lovers of nature like us was the icing. Of course, if we return to the Yucatan we will repeat the ranch.
The exterior of the chalet features a charming design with wooden beams and a stone pathway leading to the entrance. Lush greenery surrounds the property, complemented by a blooming pink tree and vibrant landscaping, offering a welcoming and serene atmosphere.

King sea view palapa in offgrid eco-ranch

VirginiaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We loved our five days at the ranch. The hosts were amazing, both the human and nonhuman! We were surprised at how wonderful it all was. The compost toilet was clean and didn’t smell. The outdoor shower had hot water and privacy. The kitchen was stocked with spices and basics and we had no problem cooking our meals. The bedroom was comfy and had linens and towels etc. Best of all we could see the ocean from our room and deck. We even saw a few whale spouts from our deck. Can’t say enough about the whole trip. We took a day boat trip recommended by our host and saw tons of wildlife - whales, porpoises, sting rays, lobster - and more. We will definitely be back.
A weathered wooden door leads to a private room, complemented by a striking mural on the adjacent wall depicting intricate designs and characters. Two rustic wooden chairs are positioned nearby, creating a simple sitting area outside the entrance.
