Great spot, Terry and Militsa were very helpful and friendly. Their rental was beautiful and perfect for what my family needed. Plenty of space if you have a larger party. The place was clean and the toddler loved seen and helping to feed the animals! We can’t thank them enough for letting us share their space.

We rented both the main house and the Zen Studio for the family to celebrate my mother’s 90th birthday. The setting is beautiful and made the weekend feel very special. We had everything we needed, especially in the kitchen, and everything was clean and comfortable . Nice attention to detail such as cabinets with labels. Lots of places outside to rest, relax and enjoy the lovely views. Grocery store nearby.

Nan and Conrad's Blue Agave Airbnb was amazing! It was perfectly located to see the best that Santa Barbara, Montecito, Summerland and Carpenteria have to offer. Within minutes we were able to get great tacos, great hikes, and even catch a polo match. The Airstream itself was great. It was a fun and unique experience. We stayed comfortably with 2 adults and 2 kids, and it had everything we needed. As for Nan and Conrad themselves - well, they were two of the best hosts we've experienced with Airbnb. They were so friendly and accommodating, and were so kind and gracious with our 4 and 7 year old kids who were enamored with the horses and chickens. We would highly recommend this location and host, and hope to return one day ourselves!

I am so glad my partner and I stayed here and got more than a slice of Ojai. The location offers more of Ojai than originally expected. Outside, The space is surrounded by local fruits, vendors, and farm. Inside, a full curation of art and culinary options. (Not to mention full amenities like washer dryer, nice shower, and impeccable AC). Make sure to book, take a dip in the hot tub, and look up at the stars. It was a dream I’m grateful to experience!

We had a lovely stay amidst a beautiful area surrounded by an avocado farm and tangerine farm. The home was lovely with many areas to enjoy both inside and outside the home. The grounds were beautiful with fresh herbs and beautiful flowers & landscaping. The kitchen was more than fully stocked with all kinds of cooking and serving abilities. The host was very responsive to all our needs and lovely. We would highly recommend this beautiful location for a peaceful stay amidst nature.

My son stayed while going to school. He really liked both Lynn and her place. She was very accommodating and nice to talk to. Location was great and the scenery just beautiful!

Jonathan's home in Somis was perfect for our group of old college friends. We arrived with 4 pickleball enthusiasts and left with 8. Originally, our group had plans to do a hike, but as soon as we settled in, no one wanted to leave the premises. The pool was refreshing after hours of pickleball, and we ended each evening relaxing in the hot tub catching up on each others' lives. Jonathan was responsive, friendly, and relaxed. He really made the booking and stay hassle-free. I would 100% rent the home in Somis again in the future.

Absolutely loved staying at Natasha's place. It's a short drive from downtown, so it was close enough but also very peaceful away from the buzz. The animals on the farm are super friendly (her cat Nacho became my instant best friend!) Natasha also was very nice and even turned the hot tub on in the evening for a great unwind. Will definitely be staying again!

I cannot recommend this stay enough. Im an big traveler and have stayed in many air bnbs… But I will forever remember this beautiful place. The orchid is breathtaking, quiet, and peaceful. The air is sweet, pure, and fresh. The sky and stars are crystal clear. The property is dual gated so I felt incredibly safe, and spent many mornings walking in the community. This is ideal for a writer, or someone looking to do focused work. I enjoyed driving 25ish minutes to Ventura when I wanted a more lively atmosphere. Grocery stores are a 15-20 minute drive. The home is very comfortable and perfectly equipped with everything you would need. I hope everyone gets to experience this little sanctuary at some point!

Iza was an exceptional host, warmly welcoming me upon arrival and always quick to respond to any questions I had. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, allowing for restful sleep. I’m really glad I was lucky enough to book this place!

We loved staying at this place, it is surrounded by beautiful nature, it is very quiet and secluded. The tiny house is spaceous in a way and very comfortable. Will definitely recommend this place to ofhers who visit the area.

Stayed at the madeleine house over memorial day weekend. It’s a great location off the beaten path from town, but still close enough to get to all the things Ojai has to offer. Location is convenient if you’re interested in hiking. We walked the trail that’s right by the house, which was really nice. The two living spaces are convenient for larger groups. The caretaker was also very helpful. Would stay again!

Extremely well maintained and comfortable place to stay for a night

Off the beaten path cottage that truly feels like another world. When you walk in, you feel right at home.

This was our second time staying at the Orchard House and it did not disappoint! The home and grounds are beautiful and peaceful. Our 4 kids loved the pool, treehouse, putting green, and bocce ball. So many cute cozy spots to enjoy a cup of coffee or book both inside and outside. The house is nicely spread out and could easily accommodate 2 families as there are 2 en-suite king bedrooms. The kitchen is well stocked for easy cooking and was left in pristine condition. We had a number of potentially annoying requests and Todd was quick to respond and accommodating. Our kids loved visiting the many nearby playgrounds and library. We can’t wait to come back!

Third time staying here. Will hopefully make it a fourth time next year!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Steve and Liz’s beautiful home. Wow, what a special place. The grounds are beautiful with lots of peaceful garden areas to enjoy. We had a private entrance so we could come and go comfortably. The room was clean and comfortable. The en-suite bathroom was awesome, especially with the private sauna which we enjoyed each day of our stay. The hot tub on the deck was lovely as well. Steve was available as needed but as the suite is on the opposite side of the house that they typically occupy it felt very private. I appreciated being able to refill our water bottles from filtered water in the kitchen as well as having a small fridge available to us. The tower room was especially memorable with its panoramic view. They are so fortunate to get to live in such a special place and we are so fortunate that they open their home to us. We would definitely return.

We loved Whitney's place. The location was fantastic with a trail up the hill directly behind with beautiful wildflowers and amazing views. Then in the other direction steps down the steep Summerland hill to coffee shops, restaurants, and the beach. Our dog was in heaven there. The cottage is definitely small so probably best for a single or couple though we did manage a weekend with 2 couples. The kitchen is very well appointed and I was able to cook many of the nights without having to run out for cabinet staples. Her recommendations for good grocery stores and restaurants were very helpful. Ian and Whitney could not be more friendly and love meeting their new young baby, dog and parrot. There are two great garden spots on opposite sides of the unit that are great for coffee early and drinks later. Read description of how you get in as it is a lot of steps to get down from the street wind through gravel path to the door. I would definitely rent Whitney's cottage again.

We had an absolutely wonderful 3-night stay over Memorial Day weekend. The studio was perfect for our family of three - comfortable queen bed and foldout couch that worked great for our 6-year-old son. April, the property manager, made this stay truly special. She was incredibly warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. April and our son hit it off immediately - she even invited us to join her for breakfast and a BBQ with her friends, making us feel like part of the community rather than just guests. April is an amazing artist. She connected with our son on a creative level and they spent time drawing together. These personal touches transformed our stay. We can't recommend this place highly enough - not just for the comfortable accommodations and the beautiful surroundings, but for the exceptional human connection that made our Memorial Day weekend unforgettable.

Beautiful spot; very secluded and peaceful but still an easy 10 minute drive to downtown Carpinteria. Loved sitting out in the evenings and seeing and hearing all the different birds. I highly recommend walks at the Carpinteria Bluffs Nature Preserve, and in downtown Carp some favorites are Brass Bird, Carp Kitchen (for good takeout), Rudy's for Mexican, and Giannfranco for a nice Italian lunch or dinner. Valerie was a wonderful host. I hope to be back!
