(North) The boats can be rented from the neighbors and the beautiful bridges can be found only a 6-minute walk away. This is where Giethoorn originated, and the oldest houses along the path are located here. No crowds of tourists. (They’re in Giethoorn Zuid.) Here, you can still enjoy the wonderful tranquility and the beauty of the old village of Giethoorn. Unfortunately not suitable for infants/children from 0 to 8.

De Herder Outbuilding

In the middle of a wooded and quiet part of the Veluwe is the country house De Herder. This cozy house, completely renovated and furnished in 2024, can accommodate 6 people and is ideal for a family. It is located in a small-scale nature park where peace and nature are central. Enjoy birds and squirrels in the garden or explore the area. Within walking distance is one of the most beautiful golf courses in the Netherlands, perfect for golf enthusiasts who want to play in a beautiful, green environment.

The recently renovated "Gastenverblijf De Hucht" is a wonderful place to really relax... with a large veranda and a spacious view of the garden. To relax, there is also a private wellness. Due to the location, there is a lot of privacy. You can also bake your own pizza in the brick oven!! "Gastenverblijf De Hucht" itself is 87 m2 and equipped with all the necessary luxury. There is a living-dining area with TV and complete kitchen. Furthermore, 3 cozy bedrooms and a separate bathroom with toilet.

From here there are many options, such as walking/cycling along the IJssel, a day trip to the beautiful Hanseatic city of Deventer, sauna Thermen Bussloo, Paleis het Loo in Apeldoorn or to the Veluwe. De Kweepeer is a cozy space in the bakery that is located next to a farmhouse. The house has all the comforts. Beemte Broekland is located in a rural area between Apeldoorn and Deventer. You love a vintage look and quiet environment, especially in the evening. The Veluwe and the IJssel are easy to visit, but cities like Zutphen and Zwolle are also easily accessible. You can park the car(s) at the house. We don't offer breakfast service. Come stay!
