The Twin Cottage from the 18th century is situated in a small hamlet with grazing animals and foot paths in the surrounding forest and fields. We have 45 km to Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren’s world. The area of ‘Bråbygden’ is known for it rich flora and well kept fields. Bråhultesjön, 6 km from us, is a nice lake for bathing. Twin Cottage is like old times attatched house. We live in one part of the house and you rent the other. The garden is a fine place to enjoy evenings. Warmly welcome!

Mysig och härlig stuga uthyres i rofylld miljö i de småländska skogarna. Stugan ligger på en mindre gård där det finns får, höns och katter. Ibland finns det möjlighet att köpa både honung och ägg från gården. Stugan ligger belägen vid Ostkustleden, vilket ger möjlighet till att vandra i vackra miljöer. I närheten finns även Vimmerby, 4,5 mil, där Astrid Lindgrens värld är ett populärt resmål. Närmaste badplats finns ca 6 km bort. Badplatsen är bra anpassad för barnfamiljer.

Warm welcome to our semi-detached house, which is located in the countryside near the coust between Västervik and Oskarshamn. The house is located in a calm idyllic area, with neighbours around, so it fits you who likes calmness. Earlier it was a cat in the house. Around 2 km from the house, it´s a village called Blankaholm. There you can swim in the sea, icecream café, mini golf and more. You also have the possibility to rent a small boat or go with a boat on a seatrip.

Historik: Våran gård byggdes i början av 1900-talet av Carolines gammel farfar Erik. Vårat bostadshus byggdes 1908, de följande åren resten av byggnaderna. 1925 man lillstugan så då användes som en liten drängbostad, medans övervåning och den del där köket nu är var förråd och sädesmagasin. I början av 1980-talet byggdes den om till bostad, då av Carolines farfar Nils. Njut av stor trädgård, mysigt ombonad stuga endast 80 meter från strandkanten.

Get away from it all and unwind amidst nature. The lake within walking distance is a great place to be. A splash, a canoe trip or just doing nothing. This is also an ideal base for exploring this beautiful region of Småland: Astrid Lindgren's Vimmerby, Västervik with its beautiful Tjust archipelago and don't forget the Moosepark. Get into the hustle and bustle for a while and then unwind and sleep wonderfully in this quiet place.

Det finns flera sjöar i området och ca 2 km från Lugnet (skogsbilväg) ligger "Gallsjön", en vacker sjö med båt och badbrygga där det är tillåtet att fiska med handredskap från strand och båt.

Eine wirklich schöne und gemütliche Unterkunft. Das Haus ist wunderschön eingerichtet, hat eine große und sehr gut ausgestattete Küche und ein sehr gemütliches Wohnzimmer. Alles ist schön hell und die Lage ist wirklich sehr ruhig. Schade, das wir nur eine Nacht auf der Durchreise hier waren. beim nächsten Mal werden wir die Unterkunft länger buchen.

If you are looking to spend some time away from the hustle and bustle, Lauren's beautiful cottage is for you. We had a wonderful time over New Year's heating the place up with the several fire places around the house and cosying up in front of them. The cottage is located in beautiful surroundings that can be discovered by foot - we spent hours exploring nature walking our dog. Thank you so much, Lauren, for making your beautiful cottage available for other people to enjoy! :)
