Guesthouse vacation rentals in Vashon Island

We loved staying at Matt and Sharon’s guest house. It was cozy and a short walk from the beach. They set up wood for us on the beach to start a fire so we could roast marshmallows with the kids. They alerted us about low tide in AM which was super fun for kids to get to walk super far out. They were always very responsive and helpful with any questions. The house itself was perfect for our one-night getaway. Would love to come back!

We only stayed for one night, but had a great time at the guesthouse. The backyard chickens and rabbits were very fun to watch, and the location close to the airport worked wonderfully for us.  

Barb and Dick are wonderful hosts, so kind and friendly, giving a comfort level of being at home. The cottage is perfect and in a great location with a beautifully maintained yard of flowers, trees, bushes, a hammock, chairs, picnic table and a great view of Puget Sound with the tide going in and out. Loved the view and being able to walk on the beach and finding treasures. The breakfast was so nice seeing we got in later than planned, so we had something for the next morning. Great place for a long weekend visiting friends. Have stayed here before so I knew the area. Heather is a great host...lots of suggestions for dining and sightseeing. Very comfy accommodations with everything you'd need for a pleasant stay. You are also within walking distance to a Fred Meyer so grocery shopping is quite easy. Dining out is simple just a short walk to some very good retaurants. This is definitely a hidden gem

Highly recommended! We had a lovely stay at Carrie’s guest house. Raft Island is quiet and covered with green vegetation, exactly what we were looking for. The house is a short drive away from Gig Harbor. We loved our stay and hope to return another time.

The location is great! The restaurant that’s a 5min walk is really good. Everything is within walking distance. We had breakfast at a place that was 1mile away and walked to the ferry to go to the pike market. We enjoyed our stay. I felt safe during my morning runs also.

Excellent, peaceful place to stay in Bremerton. Right by the water, with easy access to the beach. Loved sitting by the water, and the hosts provided kayaks and bicycles for us to use! Kayaking was excellent (I went for an hour every morning). Recommend!

Spotless and comfortable apartment in absolutely gorgeous natural setting, yet only ten minutes to SeaTac. A real gem! Would absolutely stay here again if I need to fly out of SeaTac.

This was a last minute stay over for a couple nights during our road trip! It was just what we needed! House was great and had everything to make us feel right at home! Close to downtown. Great neighborhood.

This was our first air bnb experience and it was such a positive one! Amelia is so responsive and left clear instructions which made it easy to troubleshoot or reach out if needed! Lesa’s place is gorgeous and we really enjoyed our stay here. It was clean, had everything we needed, was exactly as described, had lots of little touches, and we couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful place to stay. There is a dedicated parking space, which is huge for me. It just felt like we were home! Lesa was super friendly and responsive. We really appreciated the opportunity to stay here!

This place was perfect, we couldn’t have asked for anything better! There were 5 of us for two nights and had no issues whatsoever. We were close to everything we did in Seattle and had everything we needed. Host was extremely communicative and friendly. Would definitely stay here again. Would recommend this stay to anyone!

What a great spot- no cabin fever here, no matter what the weather. Tons to do, or a great place to just chill. Karla's place is lovingly and cleverly appointed- lots of amenities as others have noted. My family really loved the scavenger hunt. This neighborhood is amazing and Karla is an extremely thoughtful and responsive host - she checked in with us and made sure we had everything we needed. All the beds are comfy, and it has several nice workspaces, fully equipped kitchen and a great bathroom (you have to check out the loofahs!)- the whole apartment is a very comfortable place to stay.

This was the second stay we did with Jessica and she’s amazing. My friend and I felt right at home and everything was perfect. We look forward to the next time we stay here.

We stayed in Guy’s place for a few days and it was perfect for us! We loved the decor and the style, the kitchen is stocked with a lot of utensils and tools to cook and the mattress is soooo comfortable. Also, the internet is incredibly fast and could handle multiple devices without issues. Guy was a great host, always responsive and gave very clear directions to be able to find the cottage, enter and care for the space. He was so accommodating for all of our needs. We will definitely book his place again when we’re in the area!

My husband and I would’ve spent the rest of our vacation here if we could! Karen is a superb host and such a lovely person. She met us at check in and was quick to answer any questions we had via text. Her home was incredibly inviting and cozy. Far enough out of the big cities but still a great spot to find some local restaurants and close to trailheads. She also left some breakfast items which was very helpful when we forgot a few things. If you’re a photographer and get lucky enough to see the auroras, text Karen and she’ll show you/tell you the spots to get the shot. She was even kind enough to lend me a tripod while we spent the nighttime hours waiting for the aurora. Don’t wait to book the Owl’s Nest!

Heli was a wonderful and thoughtful host! My check in time was quite late and I was surpised Heli came to greet me as well as prepared the home for my arrival. The space was cozy and I felt right at home. Would totally recommend for a peaceful getaway!

Excellent location close to the 520 for convenient access to Seattle. The only nitpick would be the thin roof; hosts and their family live upstairs so when they're on the deck during the afternoon, noise can get loud. Otherwise, everything else was great. Hosts are proactive and responsive, accommodated a later check out, and unit was true to photos!

We enjoyed our stay at Rob’s cozy house in Renton. The location is so convenient, yet the place feels nicely tucked away from the city. It was especially nice to be able to sit outside on the patio with a cold drink and a good book! We definitely hope to stay here the next time we visit Seattle.

This home is in our top 3 of Airbnb. Clean, quiet, convenient and comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen, beautiful deck or back yard zen zone! Free onsite and safe parking. We will be back!
