Would you like to come to the peace and quiet in the middle of nature? A rural idyll of about 90 sqm, detached property with kitchen, bathroom, living room, three bedrooms and outdoor room and terrace. There is a possibility to rent a hot tub for an additional cost. On the farm, we also run a restaurant with various events during the summer. Here you live rural and quiet with Hols hiking trails around the corner, perfect for those of you who want to get out in nature and at the same time be close to the amazing cozy cafe town of Alingsås where you will find several cafes, restaurants and shopping. Everything is ready when you arrive duvet covers, towels and toilet paper. Smoking is not allowed! The apt is located on our small farm, warm welcome!

Welcome to a unique environment. Here you will have the opportunity to find tranquility, enjoy bird singing and forest scents. The brewhouse is just in the forest corner secluded from traffic and transparency. 5 min away is the Sollebrunn community, which offers a well-stocked grocery store, some restaurants and some other shops. 5 min away is Gräfsnäs Castle Park with historical dates and a nice restaurant and a swimming lake. The cottage is connected to Retrovägen, which has a large selection of attractions.

Cottage on farm!

Modern cottage on farm. The farm is very peaceful in the country with no disturbing roads or railroads. Walking distance to several lakes and trails for MTB biking and hiking literally in the corner. The cottage is angled so it feels private despite its location near the farm. The farm has chickens, cats, dogs and cattle in the summer months. In the autumn, there are great opportunities for both berry and mushroom plucking in close quarters. The cottage is suitable for two people, possibly a smaller child as well.

Nice Attefallhus built in 2024.

The location is rural but only 200 meters to the national road 42 between Vårgårda and Borås. Lanthandel 4 km away and 5 km to the swimming area. Close to forest walks. Quiet location. 9 km to Vårgårda center with shops, restaurants, swimming pool and second hand shop "Hjulet". Sleeps 5 of which 3 in sleeping loft. Underfloor heating and most amenities available. From the kitchen you can go out on a terrace overlooking the fields. Key in cabinet with code lock. The landlords live close by.

House Kilstrand directly on Lake Säven

The house was renovated in 2017 and impresses our guests with its interior design. Here, solo travelers, couples and families alike feel comfortable. There is also the possibility for befriended travelers to rent the neighboring beach cabin and Kilstrand house at the same time and thus be on the go with friends and still maintain their retreat option. Peggy and Pär were truly wonderful hosts. They went above and beyond to help me settle in, offering great local recommendations and assisting with plans to make my stay memorable. They were incredibly responsive and always happy to help. Their property has so much to enjoy—kayaks, a bbq grill, and a shared sauna were all available and added to the relaxing atmosphere. The cabin itself was just as described in the photos: clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location is also very convenient—just 2.5 km from the nearest train station, one stop from the charming town of Alingsås, and about 30 minutes by train or car from Gothenburg. Highly recommended! I would absolutely love to come back.

Easy check in, very good communication and extremely helpful! The shower handle did not work in our cabin so we had to borrow their bathroom to shower our very dirty dogs. We got extra towels when we ask about it, always friendly and very helpful. The house was as promised and it suited us perfectly. We'll be back! Many thanks for this weekend.

Rented this home as part of a birthday gift for two kids and my own two would also be included. All the kids gave up a wow when they went on a house view. We adults mainly appreciated the spaciousness, the two toilets and the view of the forest and field. Consistently very nice contact with Inger and Åsa!
