Very nice cottage for a family weekend (12 adults/2 teenagers/1 bb) - well equipped, comfortable bedding - quiet location on the heights of Turquant (Troglodyte Village) and ideal for visiting the banks of the Loire - Welcoming and available owner - Recommended.

I will simply say very well arranged, practical and above all very clean accommodation, where nothing is missing, single storey with a beautiful garden. Very good stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Michel's. One of the best Airbnb Airbnb is one of my best Airbnb. The house is spacious, very well decorated, comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped. The garden is huge and beautifully maintained, it feels peaceful and we were also able to enjoy the large terrace, hammocks, deckchairs and the pool. There is a private car park for the car. The city center is a 3-minute drive and there are 2 large supermarkets just nearby. The area is beautiful and worth a visit. Michel welcomed us very warmly and was a perfect host. We'll get back to him as soon as we can.

We had a great time at Aline and Guy's. The accommodation is spacious, bright, functional, well-equipped, very clean and tastefully decorated. The bedding is perfect! The exteriors are very beautiful, well maintained and very flowery, which is very nice. Aline and Guy are discreet but very available hosts with whom we had very good exchanges and who gave us plenty of ideas for outings. We would recommend this accommodation and its owners without hesitation for anyone who wants to take a quiet break or for those (like us) who want to visit the region without doing too many kilometers (very beautiful sites to discover about 1/2 hour or less away)

Clean house with anything you need. Very quiet neighbourhood and easy to find. We were very pleased to even find a personal greeting on a small blackboard at the entrance

‘Le Barn’, in the grounds of Chateau Belebat, is a charming accommodation which is beautifully and tastefully presented by the engaging hosts Jeff and Oscar. It is a peaceful, rural location, ideal as a base from which to explore this area of the Loire by car. For those on 2 wheels, it is worth mentioning the cycle path close by which connects to the local village with the all important Boulanger just 2km away from Le Barn. The nearby town of Richelieu is worth a visit and there are numerous other attractions in the locality. We picnicked by the river, tasted and bought wine in various Chateaux, explored Saumur, Chinon, Amboise, and several smaller villages, discovered charming restaurants, explored local markets and toured some of beautiful Chateaux gardens. Overall a wonderful spot although the little seating area outside Le Barn is not particularly private or comfortable if one wanted to chill/sleep/read a book in complete peace for an hour or two after a hard day sightseeing.

We enjoyed a relaxing week here. A quiet rural location surrounded by vineyards but only just beyond the edge of town so a quick drive (or a long walk) gets you into the centre. The flat on the ground floor was spacious, comfortable and well equipped and we were made to feel very welcome. Lots of places to visit as well as the famous chateaux. I particularly recommend the visit to Ackerman winery, not just for the famous sparkling wine but for a stunning art installation in the cave created with fluorescent thread and ultra violet light. Very well located accommodation for visiting the Bioparc de Doué la Fontaine, the troglo sites, the vineyards, castles... Perfect for a family weekend. The setting is very friendly, the accommodation pleasant, clean and very well-equipped. We had the pleasure of meeting Catherine and her husband who were very welcoming and attentive to our needs. We recommend it!

This stay was a gift for my parents. We had already done this and we had the idea to offer them. Like us , they thought the place was atypical and amazing. A soothing and easy-to-reach place. A clean and well-equipped place. Nearby there is Saumur and the zoo to visit. the area is very friendly. And thank you again to the responsive hosts whose access details are clear

Very good location, in the heart of the old town and yet, once inside, you can't hear anything. Perfect. Very convenient, very well furnished. The sofa bed is extremely cosy. We'll be happy to go back! The old spiral staircase brings charm to this home. Thank you for everything. You're at your best!

The stuff fairytales are made of. Staying directly under a castle. The apartment is so well appointed. Bathed in sunlight in the mornings. Spacious & tastefully decorated. Easy 5 min walk to the centre of town. Beautiful walks across the road by the Loire. The castle is an easy 10 min walk to the castle. The apartment feels very safe. The hosts are very friendly, helpful & responsive. Highly recommend staying here.

Our host left us clear and precise instructions for accessing the accommodation. The apartment is very functional, well thought out, well-equipped and very clean upon arrival. Our host had provided us with tea, coffee, butter and other small touches in case of need. We felt comfortable in the accommodation for 2 adults and a 5-year-old.

A perfect stay at Sophie's. Quiet neighborhood, the building is peaceful. Close to the city center and the castle, overlooking the Loire, the accommodation is ideal for a stay in Saumur. All the equipment is perfect, of quality, as described. We appreciated the coffee/tea pods (for example), the ease of communication with Sophie and her flexibility on schedules (allowing us to extend the day). We'll keep the address for the next time. Pleasant, well-equipped and super clean studio. The residence is very well maintained, very quiet and secure. Shops within walking distance and walks nearby. i really recommend it.
