Alphyddan - charming own small house on the mountain

Stay simple and close to nature in this newly renovated tiny house on the mountain. Calm and quiet accommodation in the forest with nice views to the west. Possibility to experience magical sunsets and an occasional deer around the corner. The cabin does not have WiFi and dragged water. Private toilet on the backside of the house. Camping shower where you mix yourself into a bucket of just enough hot water. Hot water is heated on the induction stove in the cabin. If we are at home in the main building, you can book time for shower/sauna and washing machine/dryer.

The entire apartment is equipped with underfloor heating under the light gray concrete floor which extend through the entire apartment. New modern kitchen from Ballingslöv with everything you need to cook for one or more people. The apartment has an open floor plan.

This little cottage (stuga) is next to our main house close to the center of Södertälje. It is built 1847 but with modern facilities. There is only one room, it has a sofa bed and a simple extra bed. There is central heating + a heater. The kitchen includes a microwave, a small stove and fridge/freezer. You have your independence, but we are at hand if you should need anything. In the summer you can sit out in the garden and enjoy the sun.

We were 5 friends on our first kayaking holiday in the Stockholm Archipelago. Dilan & Hassan were very kind and responded quickly to my questions - and made sure that if we were missing something, we got it right away. When we were in doubt about how to get to Stockholm, Hassan replied that it was easiest by train and that he would be happy to pick us up in the morning and again when we got home at 9 pm in the evening. We also got garden furniture when the weather suddenly became sunny. Overall very satisfactory stay.

We felt very comfortable with Helen for the 2 days in Stockholm. Where we were able to explore Stockholm center with our bikes. Thank you for the beautiful accommodation.

We enjoyed a wonderful holiday! A cozy house with a beautiful garden and outdoor space in the middle of nature with Stockholm center at a short distance. Thank you dear hosts for all the tips and the warm welcome upon entry, we felt right at home! Lots of nice trips made to Stockholm (by train) including walk Djurgården, lunch boat trip (recommended) and Abba Museum, day trip to Skansen (top live music until the evening) and delicious food at, among other things, Slingerbulten and Tabbouli. By car to Naturpark Tyresta for beautiful walks and to Country & Bluegrass Festival in vintervikens trädgård (top vegamenu) and fika at konditori Lyran Skärholmen (beautiful location) In addition, you can relax around the house, enjoying a fresh salad and bbq on the deck, relax in the hot tub, have a drink by the fireplace and roast marshmallows in the fire basket with a daily visit of a deer. Frank, Rae and Cornelis thank you so much!

Soraya was an excellent host. Helped us with an early check in. The house was located only 15-20min from the city Center. After walking and sighting seeing in Stockholm, it was always nice to get in the car and drive out of the city and come back home. Highly recommend!

Family villa 20 min from Stockholm

We stayed with Daniel for 11 days with 6 people (4 adults and 2 teenagers) and enjoyed our vacation there very much. The big house is just beautiful! The well-kept garden borders directly on a forest, so you can look forward to the visit of a deer during morning coffee on the terrace or in the evening. Train station and bus stops, shopping and a swimming lake are within walking distance of about 1-2 km. Public transport is also very good and above all reliable in Huddinge/Fullersta. Therefore, you can also take great trips without a car. Both to Stockholm but also further away into nature! Our only small challenge was the alarm system of the house. But since Daniel is really an uncomplicated and patient host, he always helped us with this too! Our conclusion: The vacation was over too quickly and if it works we would like to come back again!
