Sörmjöle is located on the coast about 20 km south of Umeå. There are buses to Umeå several times a day. In the village, there is a convenience store, and Hörnefors is about eight kilometers away – there are grocery stores, a pharmacy, bathhouse, gym and train station.

If I have the opportunity on your arrival date, transportation can be arranged from the airport to the accommodation for SEK 500. Cozy accommodation with lake view in a scenic area. The house was partially renovated in 2020. On the lower floor, there is a large living room, kitchen, large bathroom and a small toilet. On the upper floor, there are two bedrooms with 6 beds. - Access to sauna is available in an adjacent house, including shower and toilet. The house also has a sofa bed that sleeps two guests. - Swimming beach nearby. - The nearest grocery store is in Bygdsiljum, 8 km away - Proximity to slalom hill, 8 km.

Beroende på årstid finns möjlighet till skogspromenader, svamp och bärplockning, bad i sjön eller längdskidåkning, allt inom gångavstånd från stugan. Stärkesmark ligger 15 km från Vännäs och 40km från Umeå. I Vännäs finns matvarubutik, apotek och restauranger. Finns även en mindre matvarubutik i Tvärålund 8 km bort.
