Cabin vacation rentals in Valle Crucis

My husband, my 4 year old son and I loved our stay at Louis’s place! The neighborhood is beautiful and the location is great - just a 15–20 minute drive to Boone and even closer to Grandfather Mountain State Park. We really enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub, with a view of the woods. I loved the two stories layout, it makes the space feel spacious. The kitchen is very pretty and well-equipped. Very clean!

What an incredible place to share with others. Great host and great property. Hidden gem, will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. The cabin was well designed, And the decorating is spectacular! And the views are absolutely breathtaking.! The only things we were disappointed in is, there are no screens on the window and the water pressure is very low.

We absolutely loved staying at Rivers Edge! Cutest little cabin with the best view! We got to see a fox across the river looking for some food and a family of deer crossing the river this morning before we left! Cabin was stocked with everything you need and the cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed in! We will be back and refer all our friends to stay at this mountain paradise!

If you’re looking for a private cabin getaway close to amenities, this is it. We loved that every bedroom had a full bath attached. The space was clean and cozy. The hot tub was clean and hot. The outdoor space was very conducive to our dogs running around off leash, would definitely stay here again!

This was our second stay at Yeehaw cabin, something we rarely do as we like to visit as many places as possible. The cabin is well appointed and clean. We used the hot tub and the fire pit, visited Boone, Blowing Rock and had a great meal at the nearby Gamekeeper restaurant. Still, my favorite thing to do there is just relax on the deck and enjoy the view.

This home is amazing! Maybe one of our favorite places that we have ever stayed at in this area. We took advantage of the fire pit, the hot tub, the serene atmosphere and surroundings, and the hiking trails nearby. We we return to this area, we will definitely seek out this home to vacation in again!

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful, rustic getaway! The space was full of charm and character, perfectly blending comfort with a cozy, tucked-away vibe. Even though it was close to a main road for convenience, it felt completely private within its small, peaceful community. One of our favorite features was how dog-friendly the property was—our pups loved the access to the water and we appreciated the fenced in yard. It was also great to discover so many nearby dog-friendly restaurants and hiking trails, which made our days out easy and fun. The thoughtful amenities throughout the home really elevated our stay and made everything more comfortable and relaxing. We’d absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, charming escape—especially if you’re traveling with a furry friend!

Loved this cabin and its proximity to Beech Mtn for our MTB race with Downhill Southeast! Quirky charm and great covered back porch.

Great place to stay! We loved the location and the view from the back porch was astonishing. We did notice a decent amount of pet hair all over the house, but otherwise the cabin was clean. Hot tub was a great addition and quite relaxing. Amazing location!

Tom is very responsive. Answered all of our questions and replied promptly. There was a large group of us visiting for our granddaughter's graduation from App State. We had a great time playing pool , corn hole, and board games. Kitchen was well equipped to prepare our food for the party. The sleeping accommodations were all very comfortable. Three full baths was so great to have with our group. The setting was beautiful, serene and private. Would definitely stay there again.

I had a great stay at Jennifer's place. The cabin is so peaceful and feels very secluded while still being accessible to the restaurants and shopping in Boone. Jennifer was very responsive and helpful with any questions, and there is full binder of suggestions for the area. There were nice little touches for anyone traveling with dogs as well. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this cabin!

First time staying in an airBNB, and this place was great! Getting to the spot was a little testy at times, the roads to the cabin are very small and the roads are curvy. Overall the cabin looked exactly like the pictures, very clean! Jared had thought of everything, samples of toothpaste, extra toothbrushes, full size shower bottles, pantry with snacks, board games, etc. it was great staying here with my family and I’d 100% stay at any other property he’d have available. We had a running joke in the house “thanks Jared!” Because we’d just find more amenities he technically didn’t have to offer us! Pls stay here, it was absolutely great!

Very nice private place, great host, very nice layout. Would definitely stay again when in the area. Was a little worried about the driveway from the house listing due to being on a Big Touring motorcycle but had no problems at all. Even with the amount of rain Boone had gotten. Really like that it had two master bedrooms, one on the top floor and other in the basement. Had plenty of privacy when going to bed and separated from you traveling buddy. Anyway, it is one of the cleanest airbnb i have stayed into date and even my traveling partner who is a realtor said kept complementing the house layout and quality craftsmanship of the interior design. I would highly recommend his little hidden gem in the woods. Thanks again for letting us stay and explore Boone!

We had a wonderful stay in John's cozy cabin. Location is very private, but just minutes to town. The cabin was very clean, comfortable and provided everything needed for three adults and a pup. Highly recommend!

It was a fantastic place to stay! The hosts were extremely gracious and helpful, the cabin was beautiful, it was stocked with amenities way above my expectations and the view was absolutely fantastic. We never wanted to come in from the deck!

Amazing place out in the seclusion of the mountains loved it 110% From Pearl(the friendly fur baby) greeting us to the cozy fires by the creekside everything was awesome

This may have been the nicest air bnb I’ve ever stayed at. The windows, sky lights, and natural light were incredible, but the electric blinds to make it dark and cozy… wow! I regret not using that huge tub but the showers were incredible. Every amenity you could think of. Super communicative and helpful host and team. Will 100% stay here again.

What a lovely location! Unfortunately, we did not get to complete our stay due to severe inclement weather, however, we did stay one night, and we could not have asked for a more proactive and responsive host. He was always available with questions and concerns, and, the cabin itself was exactly as described and absolutely lovely. It was squeaky clean and had all things needed for a beautiful weekend away. Unfortunately, ours didn't pan out that way, but I would definitely revisit and Ron is one of the best hosts I've ever had the pleasure of communicating with.

Meridith's home was beautiful! The view from the outside deck was gorgeous! She was very responsive to messages! We liked it so much we stayed a extra night! We went to Grandfather Mountain Winery and Linville Falls Winery! So much fun! Highly recommend her Airbnb home!

Wonderful! The pictures are exactly what you get - perfect home for our long weekend getaway. All the reviews here have it right: location is perfect, views are amazing, and the house has everything you need (and more!) We lacked for nothing - even the wifi was super strong which makes me think we'll be back again so I can stare at that view while working remotely. Saw deer everyday - they didn't seem afraid of us at all - not even the dogs. Met a few neighbours who were pleasant as well. Can't wait to come back - and I will close this review with what my husband said on our last night there: "this felt like home the minute we walked in the door - I will hate to leave tomorrow." Book and enjoy!

We had a fantastic time taking in the sound of the nearby stream, playing on the property and playing board games with the family! The location is absolutely perfect if you want peace and quiet and is one of the best AirBnB experiences we’ve had. Jenny is a great host and was quick to answer our questions and provided tons of recommendations for places to eat and visit. We will definitely be back!
