Guesthouse vacation rentals in Valado dos Frades

A very homey feel and amazing hosts. We were made to feel like we were welcome to use all the shared space as if it were our home. The swimming pool was a nice touch and a great temperature as they have a cover over it. We had use of a refrigerator and each of our rooms had our own bathrooms. The location is remote if you want to walk to a restaurant or bar and about a 10 minute drive if you want to go to a restaurant or grocery store. We found the area good as a home base for our excursions, with breakfast included and friendly and helpful hosts we’d recommend this Airbnb.

Un séjour d'une semaine au calme, dans un jardin magnifique. Tout est bien entretenu, beaucoup de soin et de goûts. Carole et son mari sont attentifs au moindre détail pour que nous soyions bien. Merci pour tout.

We had a fantastic time, it was very private and relaxing. The house is very well thought out, clean and the facilities available were extraordinary. The space in the house was brilliant and having 2 bathrooms was great. The outside pool area was very private. We could have happily just stayed at the house for the week. The main town of Alcobaça was a 9min drive. The amenities in the town were second to none with every shop available. Also Being 10 min away from major motor ways , meant that traveling to Fatim, Coimbra, Nazaré, figueira da foz, and even to Lisbon and Porto do easy. It's a great base to explore Portugal. Thank you to Fabian for a fantastic home for out holiday.

Hospedagem excelente em Tomar. O local estava limpo e bem organizado, com atenção aos detalhes. A localização é ótima, perto dos principais pontos da cidade. Atendimento cordial e eficiente. O café da manhã é simples, mas atende bem às necessidades e é uma opção prática. Recomendo!

Staying in Ani's beautiful guesthouse was an absolute delight. Not only was the surrounding area picturesque, Ani made us feel right at home with her welcoming fruits and veggies. The location is a little drive away from Lisbon, but the surrounding area and towns are worth exploring and offer more than enough. I would say the pool was our favourite part, but the lovely cats that came to visit us from time to time stole the show. All and all a lovely time, we will be back if we're ever in the area again.

Very nice host and a clean and proper bnb to stay at. We enjoyed how clean it was when we arrived, and it was exactly as described. The host was able to communicate quickly, and she was very kind as well.

El apartamento está ubicado en una aldea muy tranquila, con tienda de alimentación y un café. A 5 mn en coche, y 15 mn a pié, hay un varias playas y una oferta variada de de restaurantes. Comparte parcela jardín, huerto y aparcamiento, zona para tender, con otros tres alojamientos, pero con distancia suficiente para tener intimidad. En las zonas comunes hay un bonito y soleado jardín con muebles de terraza donde puedes tomar el sol, desayunar..leer etcétera. La vivienda es de reciente construcción con materiales de calidad y está amueblada con gusto y buen mobiliario. En relación a la limpieza está impecable. Nosotros hemos repetido éste año, ya que nos ofrece todo lo que necesitamos. Ésta zona de Portugal es una joya, ofrece muchas cosas que ver y hacer y tiene un turismo proporcionado, familiar, y tranquilo.. Eugenia y Julia han estado pendientes y atentas respondiendo rápido a cualquier necesidad. ha sido un placer. Repetiremos.

Staying in Tomar was an unforgettable experience. The house is within walking distance from the train station and right next to ancient walls that lead to a beautiful castle. The area is peaceful with no nearby houses, so it’s incredibly quiet day and night—at night, you hear nothing but birds and insects. The guest house has everything you need, with fast Wi-Fi, strong and hot water, and a well-equipped kitchen. Outside, you can relax in a hammock or enjoy the sun in a chair. The sunset is stunning, and the night sky is full of stars. The host lives in the main house at a respectful distance, offering full privacy but always ready to help if needed. They are truly kind, thoughtful, and respectful—anticipating guests’ needs and making sure your stay is perfect. I even got fresh lemons from the garden and made delicious lemonade. Thanks to the host’s warmth, I fell in love with Tomar and would return in a heartbeat.

Es una casa muy bonita, acogedora y con mucho espacios y ambientes en el exterior para disfrutarla. No le falta detalle, tiene mucho menaje del hogar y la recepción fue maravillosa: cuando llegamos estaba la señora esperando por nosotros con un dulce de chocolate que nos supo a gloria después de un viaje largo. Las 5 personas que nos alojamos nos sentimos muy bien en la casa, muy recomendable!

Le logement est tout simplement superbe, tout est pensé pour qu’on se sente bien. Nous avons été accueilli avec un plateau de petits gâteaux, fruits, fromage et vin! Maria est adorable! Nous recommandons à 100% ce logement (si vous avez une voiture pour vous déplacer).

Ótima estadia, anfitriã impecável muito simpática, casa muito limpa, ótimas condições com Smart Tv e ar condicionado. Ótimo local muito tranquilo, com toda a certeza voltaria lá.

Wir haben uns bei Sabrina und Hélio rundum wohlgefühlt. Das Apartment ist einzigartig und mit viel Liebe zum Detail im Stil eines Bootshauses gestaltet – ein echter Wohlfühlort. Es ist an alles gedacht: Die Küche ist hervorragend ausgestattet, es war blitzsauber und es fehlt an nichts. Die Lage ist herrlich ruhig und das Meer ist ganz in der Nähe. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen – alles in allem ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt. Vielen Dank, Sabrina und Hélio!

Ein wunderschöne Oase von einem Campingplatz. Die Chalets sind schön gelegen und der ganze Campingplatz ist schon fast wie ein botanischer Garten. Die Häuser sind heimelig eingerichtet und haben alles was man braucht und was fehlt wird sofort organisiert. Die Besitzer sind sehr bemüht und liebenswert. Wir hatten einen etwas modrigen Geruch im Schlafzimmer, das war das Einzige, was uns unangenehm aufgefallen ist. Für eher pingelige Menschen wäre es vermutlich nicht sauber genug gewesen ( unter den Schränken und Sofa), aber die wichtigen Sachen wir Badezimmer, Küche, Kühlschrank waren sehr sauber. Für uns und unsere Kids ( wir campen allerdings auch gerne) war es der perfekte Ausgangspunkt. Auch die Ausstattung für alle - Bäder, Gemeinschaftsraum etc waren toll.

We hebben een fijne vakantie gehad met ons gezin. Het huis is erg schoon en netjes. Een kastje met speelgoed voor onze dochter viel erg in de smaak. het zwembad was heerlijk en er zijn meerdere plekken in de tuin om te kunnen zitten. We kregen ook een mandje erwten van eigen oogst en mijn dochter mocht verse aardbeien plukken. Erg aardig en gastvrij. Een aanrader als je op zoek bent naar een rustig verblijf in rustige omgeving.

Gostámos muito. Um bocadinho de paz no meio do campo. A casa está muito bem equipada, limpa e é confortável. Deu para descansar verdadeiramente que era o objectivo. O único senão foi a falta de rede de telemóvel mas que para nós até foi um descanso, apenas uma nota para quem precise de estar contactável ou trabalhar remotamente. Para quem ia no intuito de desligar foi um ponto a favor. Recomendo imenso e se voltar a Alcobaça irei repetir. Obrigada :)

Que dire... c'est un endroit magnifique entouré de verdure avec une vue imprenable sur les alentours. Darleene est une personne accueillante et très gentille. Tout est a disposition dans le logement. La piscine est géniale. Il y a une salle commune pour regarder la télé et manger à plusieurs à l'intérieur. Espace jeu à l'extérieur ping ping, fléchettes. Grand espace extérieur pour de grandes tablées avec une cuisine extérieure. Je reviendrai avec plaisir tant ce coin de paradis est plaisant. En prime j'ai aperçu une étoile filante et vu danser les hirondelles au dessus de ma tête. Merci encore Darleene pour votre hospitalité.

Apartamento fiel a la descripción. Lo mejor es la piscina y el espacio a su alrededor que se comparte con otros inquilinos pero que poco coincidimos con ellos. En el interior unicamente echamos de menos que la tv sólo estaba en francés (aunque se puede acceder a aplicaciones tipo netflix) y un horno, pero ambas cosas no nos parecieron indispensables. Didier fue muy amable y hospitalario. Pena que no pudimos hablar mucho porque no manejamos los mismos idiomas. Tuvimos un pequeño problema en el apartamento por falta de entendimiento pero en cuanto nos entendimos lo solucionó con celeridad. La casa queda cerca de Foz do Arelho (se puede ir andando) y de la playa. Foz es pequeño, tranquilo y agradable con algún restaurante y tienda. A 15 min. en coche tienes Caldas da Rainha con todos los servicios (hipermercados, restaurantes...). Resumiendo: apartamento sin grandes lujos pero con lo indispensable, con un espacio exterior espectacular y cerca de la playa. Anfitriones muy agradables.

我們和兩歲的兒子在Maria和Hai 的家住了一晚，我們從入住前的訊息、剛入住在露台用晚餐聊天、在房間休息一晚都得到最熱情的款待和溫暖的招呼，甚至隔天要離開時，房東還拿了母雞新鮮的雞蛋要我們帶著。 住宿的房間有獨立出入口，非常寧靜，有安全感。雖然在地下室，但是有天井露台，自然光線充足明亮。 我們尤其感Maria幫我們的寶寶佈置了溫馨舒適的地墊床和繪本、小玩具，孩子非常非常喜歡☺️ 房東夫婦經常旅行，他們會是你旅途中最好的地方夥伴和歇處。 唯一提醒，這個住宿地點較為偏遠，適合自行駕車的旅客前往住宿。

We loved our stay at Tania's place. It was spacious, very clean, comfortable and cozy. Tania has thought of everything to make a stay at her place enjoyable. The surroundings are private and the pool is lovely. Tania was very helpful and a great communicator.

Havre de paix pour les familles telle une oasis ou la nature est luxuriante , vous avez aussi le verger , le potager , le poulailler , la piscine , des terrasses privées en extérieur , la liberté d’allez et venir en toute sécurité ( car les propriétaires résident sur le site ) Et l’essentiel est là , Linus avons passez les meilleures vacances de notre vie parmi eux. L’accueil fut très chaleureux , notre plus beau voyage en immersion locale. Obrigada
