We are so pleased with our experience that we’d love to return in the future. P.S. I would recommend this chalet for visitors with a car, as the ski resorts are about a 20-minute drive away.

We’ve just returned from a week’s stay at Louis’ place in Avoriaz. This is a truly great duplex apartment, perfect for a family ski holiday and incredible panoramic views of the mountains from the spacious balcony. The location of the building is very convenient for easy ski-in/ski-out to Avoriaz slopes, plus easy walk into the village for bakery, supermarket, restaurants etc. The only slight negative (though not really a problem) was a weaker WiFi connection in the bedrooms (probably because the router was located downstairs). Louis is a great host: easy to communicate with and willing to provide extra information, helped us already months in advance of our stay. Thanks for hosting us Louis, we’d certainly recommend and would be glad to return.

Laurence was kind enough to offer transportation whenever we needed it and she helped us navigate the French train system and setting up restaurant reservations. The place was very clean. The hot tub and sauna were nice as well and very private! She made the experience of being in France very authentic; she definitely went above and beyond a typical AirBNB host.
