Monthly Rentals in Val d'Herens

We spent 2 nights in this beautiful, extremely well-equipped and well-maintained apartment. The terrace is simply extraordinary, with sun from late morning until evening. The surroundings are very peaceful, with a beautiful view of the mountains and surrounding fields and cows grazing right next to the house. The owners who live upstairs are lovely and very welcoming, it feels like home. Thank you so much for the nice welcome!

We really enjoyed Colette's cottage with its view from the master bedroom and living room of the mountain. Colette has thoughtful touches with chocolate eggs for Easter, toys for children (all ages) and even books for adults (super the snow fiancé on the legends of the region). It has all the comforts. There is a beautiful hike from the cottage with waterfalls, forest and panoramic views. The accommodation is 30 minutes from the start of the hike to Lake Bleu d'Arolla where there are shops or otherwise very close to Saint Martin for simple amenities. Good to know: to access the cottage by car, it's a very small lane.

Responsive host (quick response to our questions) and very friendly. Beautiful apartment, very well-equipped. The place is very quiet in the countryside with the sound of water and cow bells in the pastures. I recommend it!

The most wonderful and kind hostess - happy to do anything for you! The apartment is so beautiful and Sophie really has thought of everything you could ever need! Our only regret is not being able to stay longer!
