Welcome to my cozy little mountain cabin. Here you can find tranquility in quiet and beautiful surroundings just an hour away from Bergen city center. The cabin is located right by Storavatnet, a beautiful mountain lake with lots of mountain trout. If fishing is not for you, you can always swim, either in the water or in the natural pools right by the cabin. In winter it is nice to go cross-country skiing here, with nice trips up to Gleinnefjell, and Stordalen Ski Center/Fjellstove is only 30 minutes away if downhill skiing and good food tempts you!

For the active person who loves to explore wild and beautiful westland nature. Or just enjoy the silence in harmonious surroundings right by the river, surrounded by high mountains. It is about 8 min drive to Mo i Modalen where there is the possibility of swimming both in the pool and beach. There is also a café/restaurant, bowling alley. There is Coop Xtra, charging stations and a gas station. It is about 30 min drive to Gullbrå, which is a popular ski area in winter. It is 1h10min drive to Voss city center and 1h30 to Bergen.

To Voss it takes 1 hour to drive. The place offers great nature and nice hiking trails in forests and mountains. By the lake you can fish or swim. Fishing licenses must be purchased when fishing in rivers or water. A kayak is at your disposal. Boat rental in the area. Linen and towels are included. Wi-fi & Chromecast. No TV channels.

It is 1.5 hours by car to Bergen - 1 hour to Voss and Stølsheimen hiking area. Or just relax on the patio. There are chairs, tables, pillows, etc. Good with sun. A short walk away is a popular fishing and bathing water, where we have a canoe that will be available during your stay. Remember the fishing rod! The cabin is also the starting point for several popular mountain trips such as Nystølen, Nåmdalsfjellet, Storefjell, Blånipa, Gavlafjellet, Slottet and Solrenningen are just a drive away.
