The cabin is located 450 meters above sea level. Close to nature, mountains and water. Here you can pick berries and mushrooms in the fall, enjoy many nice trips, both summer and winter. It is very family friendly and there are many animals to greet! In summer there are several nice swimming areas nearby. The cabin can accommodate 10 people with 3 bedrooms, 4 double beds. Bed linen is required to be used, if you do not bring your own, it can be ordered at an additional cost. NOK 150 per person The hot tub costs NOK 750 in addition, and must be booked in advance. Our farm was built in the 1940s, for farm girls who took care of the cows in the summer. It has a simple standard with solar power systems, a small kitchen and toilet. There is a short distance to the mountain peaks, Bruviknipa and Olsnessåta. This is a unique opportunity to experience Norwegian nature, in an original seter. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the parking lot.

By the water it is nice to fish and enjoy the silence. The view from the porch is beautiful summer and winter. The cabin has electricity, while water for drinking, washing and cleaning you get from the river. When you arrive at the cabin, there are 3×10 liters of water there. If you want to find other activities, it is 30 min. by car to Voss.

To Voss it takes 1 hour to drive. The place offers great nature and nice hiking trails in forests and mountains. By the lake you can fish or swim. Fishing licenses must be purchased when fishing in rivers or water. A kayak is at your disposal. Boat rental in the area. Linen and towels are included. Wi-fi & Chromecast. No TV channels.

The young girls lived up here with the cows in the summer pasture and carried the milk down to the farms every day. You reach the cabin within a medium easy 1 h hike from the road, where half of the hike is on a gravelly road and the rest in forest. Use shoes for off road hiking in nature. There are fantastic hiking opportunities with stunning views, and several lakes for fishing in the immediate area.
