Jotunheimen - 15 minutes from Gjende and Besseggen.

Architect designed cabin in Sjodalen Fjellgrend at the entrance to the Jotunheimen national park. The area is an excellent starting point for day trips to Besseggen, Glittertind, Besshø or Rasletind, among others. There are great hiking areas all year round, whether you like prepared ski tracks or the snow mountain in winter and mountain shoes or bike in the summer. There is an eldorado for fishing and hunting in the autumn and many mountain hikes are clear outside the cabin door on mountain skis or randone in the spring.

Here there is the possibility to go straight out for miles of cross country tracks, stand on alpine skiing, or use the cabin as the perfect starting point for mountain hiking in Jotunheimen. Walking distance Lemonsjøen mountain lodge and the cafe bar Kalven seats. Here there is space for 2 families Rented to adult responsible people. No smoking or pets allowed. By agreement, a boat on a trailer can, and canoe is lent to the tenant. The area is an eldorado for fishing in the mountains.

Myklebu

Myklebu is a 50 year old cabin located all for itself in the pine forest of Sjodalen, Vågå. Summertime you drive all the way, but in winter you have to prepare to go skiing. This is the cabin that is both small and primitive while being modernized with newly inlaid power. Here you live far from people right in the middle of nature's own amusement park, absolutely perfect for your outdoors. Water you have to bring or pick up from the creek. Bedroom 1: Double bed 2nd bedroom: Double bed downstairs, single bed upstairs Bedroom 3: Double bed downstairs, single bed upstairs Bedroom 4: Double bed on the second floor/loft. Access by ladder. The cabin must be washed out when you leave so it is ready for the next guest. There are pillows and duvets, but linen and towel must be brought.

Ski slopes cross country skiing is on the doorstep, and a short drive to the alpine slope. Quiet and peaceful area, with lots of wildlife just outside the cabin wall. Very nice two houses. Everything works, it was warm and cozy. We used the fireplace every day - it was very nice to sit in the comfortable chairs in front of the fire. There is always a hot jacuzzi waiting for you outside. It is especially nice to climb into the jacuzzi after a day of skiing, also nearby.

A jacuzzi is positioned on a veranda, surrounded by a scenic mountain view. The water appears calm, reflecting hues of the sunset sky. A stainless steel kettle and two mugs are placed nearby on the ledge, adding to the inviting atmosphere.

The house was beautiful and felt very homely. It was easy to settle in as it was clean with all necessities available. The area around was amazing with great views and a nice friendly neighbourhood. With a ski slope outside the house, we were never bored and had lots of fun! A great place to spend some time at Christmas! The owners were very friendly and rresponded quickly to our every query. We would happy return once again :)

We had a lovely stay in this cabin. Full of Norwegian rustic charm but with all modern amenities, great place to relax after exploring the surrounding national parks. Also amazing location walking distance to Lom but in peaceful area with hiking trails from the house. We would love to return one day. Highly recommend!

Waking up to those stunning views every morning was an unforgettable experience. We had a great time. Kristin’s cabin beautiful as the pictures shown, peacefully quiet and have all the amenities included. Really nice to arrive tired and not having to bring and do our own bedsheets or thorough cleaning when leaving. Kristin is very responsive. We get the option to charge our electrical cars so it’s really convenient. Although there’s no WiFi internet at the moment of our stay (will be installed later), the cellular data works well. Would recommend this place.

The location is ideal for mountain hikes starting from one of the many possible starting points along Sognefjellsveien. This is a particularly nice house with everything you need. Here there is a cozy living room and dining room. The bedrooms have good beds with lovely linens.

Annet is very friendly.Very patiently helped us register and use the camp's charging equipment.There is a small river next to the house, and the view from the window is very pleasant.This was our first time staying at a Norwegian camp, and it was a great experience.

For a group of 10, this place was ideal. It was very functional, quirky and a really good laugh to stay in. We climbed Galdhøpiggen and the location was great for this. Marit was very responsive and helpful and gave us more detailed instructions when we couldn’t find the lodge at first. Split between 10, the lodge was extremely good value. More hot water would have been great for such a big group, but that is not a big issue. Overall I would highly recommend staying here! Thank you Marit!

An absolutely perfect place for cross-country skiing for the whole family - age 2 - 74 years. We were 2 adults, 4 children and 2 grandparents for 7 days. The cabin was really nice and very spacious. Nothing was missing! Lovely with sauna after a good day skiing. Beautiful view of mountains and sunrise every morning. We were lucky with the weather and had pretty much good weather (sun) all week:). A ski area that offers many different slopes. Please check the Norwegian website ski track and search Skåbu. The trails were continuously driven up by Skåbu Tverrbygda løybelag (search FB - there are ongoing photos from the area) The host was very helpful, which was really nice:). All in all, a really nice place that can definitely be recommended♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️.

Ingunn is a nice host , who communicated with us clearly about the place and its features. She was in front of the cabin to welcome us upon arrival and say bye when check out.Cabin were clean and tidy. It has a nice view to the mountains through the windows.

As last year, we are now very satisfied with this comfortable holiday home. Communication is very smooth. The location is very good, you can do everything. You never get tired of the gorgeous landscape that surrounds the cabin. We got a moose and two deer visiting several nights. We will definitely come back!
