There is a car road all the way to the cabin all year round, and good parking. This is a perfect starting point for hiking in Jotunheimen and the surrounding mountain areas. In winter there is a cross country trail right behind the cabin and you can go on an alpine ski right outside the cabin door and run to the ski resort. The cabin is beautifully located also for hunting, fishing and total relaxation.

Fjellro is a cabin with an incredibly great location and spectacular views of Vågvatnet and Jotunheimen. The cabin is a good starting point for top tours to some of Norway's most famous mountains. Galdhøpiggen, Glittertind and Besseggen to name a few. The cabin is romantic with a fireplace and a special character that allows you to relax and enjoy the peace. You will stay in Øverstuggu, one of about 50 buildings in the historical Kvarberg farm.
