At Möcklö 1.8 km after Karlskrona in the islands there is our nice little cottage. Here in nature, only about 200 meters from the sea there is our cabin. Beautiful deciduous trees and shrubs surround your space. German and Swedish TV are available. Wifi as well as Chromecast. Excursions to the glass kingdom like Kosta and Öland are close to visiting. Or why not moose safaris at Grönåsen's moose and farm animal park or Eriksberg safari park. Tennis, Paddle courts (single and double) and golf course are available nearby. The five of us spent a week in this great holiday home. It is very lovingly furnished and with attention to detail, offers everything you need and generous space. The house is quietly located and is an ideal starting point for a wide variety of excursions. The communication with Henrik was always very friendly, quick and accommodating. We can highly recommend this house and would be happy to come back.

Ocean front house in top condition

A house with everything you need and more. Separate grand piano with its own hall where it was possible to work undisturbed remotely with beautiful views. Master bedroom with a walk in closet with great storage of clothes and great views of the ocean from the bed. The bathrooms are new and fresh, but most homes in the bay take the daily morning swim in the ocean. Swimming jetty with sandy bottom and on the other side of the house are smooth swimming rocks with a smaller steel jetty. The house has a giant terrace to sunbathe from. We are super happy and this was the first time we rented the host's big house, we have previously rented a smaller house from him and stuck for the beautiful archipelago environment. Tip is to bring a bike so you can bike and drink coffee and eat freshly baked on Skärgårdskraft where local artisans exhibit. Bike to the boat to get in to Karlskrona (15-20 min) and visit the Marine Museum, Brändaholm and Blomlöf's fish restaurant. If you like to shoot, visit Tjurkö boat chicken farm as well. The host of this house gets top ratings.

We enjoyed the time very much! The cabin is cozy and the view of the orchard is beautiful. At night it is absolutely quiet on the island and also during the day was not much going on - overall a great place to relax! The small supermarket in Torhamn had everything we needed and the crossing by ferry was straightforward (runs very often and is free). Check-in and check-out were very straightforward.

Helen's cottage is the perfect destination for anyone looking to escape the (stressful) everyday life and perhaps – like us – the big city jungle. Even though the island is quite large, you have your own part to yourself where you can relax wonderfully and also find the connection to nature and the animal world again. The log cabin is very cozy, for two we didn't miss anything and for the cold or wet evenings there is still the fireplace. If something is missing, Helen is not far away and helps or gives great advice for small tours on foot or by rowboat. We enjoyed it a lot and will definitely come back. Thank you for this wonderful spot on earth!

We celebrated Easter at Eleonor's house and had a very nice time. The house is newly built and everything was in top condition. We especially enjoyed the bathtub! The house is in a quiet and scenic area.

Terés is an amazing host. I asked her about a bike rental and the next day there were two bikes outside the door free of charge. This allowed us to leave every corner of the beautiful island. We had a great stay at Terés's place.
