We had a great stay! The place was exceptionally clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and perfect for what we needed. Our host was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our visit, always quick to respond and ready to assist with anything we needed. One thing to note for future guests: getting around the area without a car can be a bit challenging, especially later in the evening when it’s harder to get Ubers/Taxi’s. That being said, our host went above and beyond to help us navigate those situations and made sure we were taken care of. Highly recommend staying here, especially if you're looking for a quiet, clean place with a truly wonderful host.

wonderful and friendly hosts with clear instructions on how to access the property, generous with their time and emotional energy. they sent extra photos showing how to park which was invaluable! they left a little gift basket of cookies to nibble on which my wife loved. they also recommended a yomitan cafe and it was fantastic. mimi would occasionally check in that we were having a good time and we always were! reminded me of staying with a nice aunt :) you cannot beat the location, as you walk down stairs and onto the sand of the beach. it feels more wild, quiet and lived in than a hyper-western and expensive resort, which was exactly what we wanted--a local beachy experience. go swimming at high tide within the reef and you will see lots of grazing parrotfish and butterflyfish--please be respectful to the local wildlife, the coral, and hakas! eddie and mimi have a bin of gear you are free to use, although i brought my own prescription goggles which let me see the fish even better.

My family loved our time here! Loved the seawall walks in the morning, close to everything we wanted to do. Sharon was extremely nice and checked every few days to ensure everything was ok. I would definitely stay here again!

Everything was fine. The location gave the opportunity to feel the vibe of the island. The house has everything you need to have a relaxed time and a lot of artistic details. The nearby beach is wonderful and with some luck you can see a stunning sunrise. Hide rented us a car what made our stay even more joyful.

6 adults and 3 children stayed for 3 nights and 4 days.I had a comfortable stay in a completely private space. It is a very quiet place, and it is great to enjoy a BBQ while looking at the sea from the wooden deck. The room is also tidy and very clean.There are no problems because all the cooking utensils and other items are provided. One thing to note is that a small insect (Yasude) appeared, but it was a temporary issue.They don't harm people, so we were fine, but if you don't like insects, please be careful.(It's a tropical country, so I think insects are to be expected) The location is in the center of the main island, so it is convenient to travel to the north and south in about an hour. We had a great trip and it was a great place to stay!

The location of the house is very easy to find, but be careful when driving at night because there are fewer street lights. The house is very clean, comfortable, and the price is very reasonable. However, since there is no living room on the 1st floor, it is not suitable for elderly people with poor foot strength. Overall perfect score👍

Beautiful property if you want to stay near Cape Maeda and prioritise snorkelling, scuba diving, beaches, and/or hiking. It was definitely far from a lot of restaurants and bars, and we had planned on using my IDP to rent a car but unforeseen circumstances made it impossible. However, I think we enjoyed the location and some time to unwind after travelling throughout Japan for the previous 2 weeks.

Beautiful place! A luxury stay in rural Okinawa. Very quiet and surrounded by nature. Definitely best to have a car or preplanned taxi/Ubers to access the place as public transport isn't super reliable. Host was a great communicator and we adored the sweet gifts that appeared at our door. Would stay longer if we could!

Very, very good homestay and Host, recommend! If you're driving with kids, you have to stay here ~ From the time of booking to the end of the stay, All communication went smoothly! No problem communicating directly with the host in Chinese using the app ~ A row of three ABCs is very similar There are two parking spaces for each household in front of the homestay Check in by yourself by taking the key from the mailbox code lock We live in Building A There are three rooms and six beds in total The room is small but sufficient There are two toilets and bathrooms separate But since there is only one bathroom, it is recommended to stay with a close friend or family member to avoid awkwardness! You can feel the fresh air as soon as you walk in Then I found that the air purifier was already on. The living room has a two-seater electric sofa (the kind that can lift your feet by pressing a button) I have Netflix on TV. The kitchen is fully equipped There is also a set of children's tableware + food scissors But for hygiene reasons, no condiments are provided. If you want to cook Wagyu, you have to buy Okinawa salt to dip it in. There's plenty of bottled water in the fridge. There are also plenty of ice cubes in the freezer to go with the beer. The toilet lid pops up when the toilet door opens (Cool but sometimes scary haha) The bathroom is also great There is a bathtub for bathing and playing with bath balls Super strong shower head and hot water 100 points directly Small chairs and spoons are provided for children Toothbrushes also have children's toothbrushes😍 There's also a washer and dryer next to the bathroom sink. And the first floor is a Japanese-style tatami room. Tell the host if you have kids She will help prepare age-appropriate toys for children (That's right. She's super thoughtful. She even asked me how old my kid is.) My daughter is super happy and plays by herself Adults can also have a good chat and rest (Those who know, know) The whole house is very Japanese The color scheme is very comfortable to look at You can feel that the owner takes great care of every corner In short, I highly recommend family guests to stay If the full score is 10 I'll give 12 points 2 points are added to the homestay owner's thoughtfulness Thanks very much!

The location has wonderful view, is peaceful, and the room is specious and clean. The host is very lovely and helpful with everything. If I have the chance to visit Okinawa again. I would definitely stay here again.

It was a very spacious and beautiful facility. There were plenty of tools for children to enjoy in the guest warehouse and indoors, and we had a pleasant stay even after sightseeing. Also, it was nice to see that they cared about this place with pictures of the old house and growth records on the wall. There was also a TV and a projector, and we had a very elegant stay. Just lying in the hammock and looking out the wide window made me feel refreshed. It was a memorable trip, thank you very much✨

What an absolute honour and privilege to be able to stay in such a beautifully well-kept traditional Okinawan house. It is a stunning place, the pictures do not do it justice. It is quite far out so you will definitely need to rent a car, the drive is incredibly smooth along the beautiful seafront and just about an hour from the airport. It’s an easy drive to Cape Hedo which we would recommend, lots of little things to do around there (go see the Rail Observation point while you are there!). Hayato san was an incredibly helpful and gracious host, flexible on check-in and offered a lot of help! We wish we could have stayed longer, and will most definitely be returning to stay here or at another one of their properties.
