Family-friendly vacation rentals in Uri

a very cozy apartment with a well equipped kitchen. refrigerator, microwave, toaster and filter coffee machine were there too. towels were changed once per a week on Wednesday and garbage bins were emptied too. this service was very convenient for us.

We had a magical week at Thomas’s place. The place was perfect in every way with the most beautiful views of the valley, wonderfully cozy and well appointed space. The sauna was definitely a perk! Thomas was an amazing host, went above and beyond, giving us the friendliest welcome and great recommendations. One of the best hosts we’ve encountered during our years with Airbnb! And Engelberg is a wonderful place, especially for families. The whole town is very child friendly in terms of the restaurants, playgrounds, and accessibility. We spent the whole time at Brunni which was perfect for our toddler in terms of bunny slopes and playgrounds (and a few blue and red runs for us). We took the bus a block from the apartment to the train station, then a quick transfer to a second bus, on the slopes in less than 15 minutes! Brunni has lockers so we stored all our equipment overnight. Hope we can make it back to Engelberg next season and stay at Thomas’s place!

The house is very clean and convenient, very worthwhile to vacation here. We were in the house in winter, it takes some love to heat with wood, but if you like to do it like me, that's no problem. Attention, the washing machine is not available as on the description. We would come back in a moment:-)

We were all cyclists and the chalet was ideal as it had a covered garage too

Stephen’s apartment in Andermatt was perfect for our ski trip. It easily accommodated three adults and four would have fit as well. The apartment was extremely comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. There is a bus line to take you into downtown Andermatt that runs once an hour, but you can easily walk into town in just a few minutes. If you are renting skis, I recommend Gleis O and getting a locker so you don’t have to bring skis back up to Stephen’s place each night. Overall, I highly recommend Stephen’s apartment for a wonderful stay in Andermatt.

Location right next to the slopes was perfect. We were able to get started directly with the skis or sleds every morning. The equipment in the Gaus was also great for our family with two small children. We enjoyed the week with the best weather and can imagine coming by again!

This place was amazing!!!! The valley of this home was somewhat secluded. It was extremely beautiful and very peaceful. We didn’t mind driving to the tourist areas of Lucerne or Lauterbrunnen because it was so beautiful! We also enjoyed having down time at the home where there was plenty to do. We especially loved the nearby river. The fireplace was so wonderful and kept the home warm. We came with many children and loved it all!

Fantastic stay, we had a group of 17 people over the weekend and the house was spacious and the surrounding area was beautiful! Very close to the skiing area.

Fantastic apartment! Bigger than it looks on the pictures and really confortable in every way. Location is great with a fantastic view from the large balcony and not too far from the main cable car taking you up to the Disentis ski paradise! Parking garage in the house and a COOP grocery store just on the hill going up to the apartment. All in all - very convenient and highly recommended!

Great stay

We stayed at the C33 apartment for a week, everything corresponded to the photos and description and everything worked out smoothly. On foot you can reach the cable car, Coop, restaurants in 5-10 minutes.

we were 2 adults with 3 children. It has enough space for everyone in the very clean apartment. The kitchen is well equipped. For the gondola, it's a little too far. However, the bus is directly in front of the apartment. Ski school right in front of the property. the indoor swimming pool is outdated. Denoch clean. The insulation on the walls and ceiling loosens, and swim in the pool! All full of black "dirt". but the kids enjoyed splashing. in general, we felt very comfortable and were able to enjoy the time.

Fantastic location but very steep village if you have nobility concerns. Extremely clean and comfortable. Well designed apartment but appliances are overly complicated. We had difficulty with check in but that could have been because we arrived on a national holiday

The Appartement matched my expectations. I really like it. Great for Skiing with easy access to the slopes.
