Very nice home with everything expected and more. James was very helpful and made our stay a memorable one. Would recommend staying here for the short walk to the centre of Bourton and a good base to visit the beautiful villages nearby.

A tiny cottage tucked away in a riverside Cotswold village. It is beautifully furnished and equipped to a very high standard. The lack of an adjacent parking space proved not to be a problem in January but could be difficult in the summer when tourists flock into the village. We loved our mid-week break in Lower Slaughter.

This was perfect for us for a weekend away without the kids! The little town is gorgeous and the walks were incredibly beautiful. Lots of choice of where to eat. This little place was so quiet and tucked out the way. Everything you would need in the kitchen was provided and the bed was so comfortable. The surroundings were so peaceful and the walk into town was only 10 minutes across the fields and started right next to the house. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will be back! We couldn’t recommend this place anymore highly!

We had an amazing stay at The Old Bottle Store. The room was cosy but more than big enough, fully stocked coffee station and comfy bed. We brought our little dog who can be very reactive, but because it was so peaceful he slept all night! We enjoyed a really lovely meal at the pub next door, it was my birthday so the owner brought out a cake and a bottle of Prosecco and sang happy birthday which was lovely! Overall a 10/10 stay, will definitely book again!
