The Hayloft. Charming cottage, two storey, bijou.

BenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Kristeen is a wonderful host and welcomes you into a private part of her home! The setting of the Hayloft is idyllic and feels so remote yet is right next to anything you need. Kristeen is incredibly helpful and accommodating. We stayed as a young family of four and our girls adored it! It truly is a lovely spot. Highly recommended

Charming & Restful Barn Retreat: Stroll to Village

SarahRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We have really loved our time at The Barn and we’re so happy that we were able to extend our stay by x3 nights due to a car breakdown. Sally and Sam have been very helpful and responsive throughout our stay. The Barn is amazing and it is the best Airbnb we have stayed in to date. The beds and sofas are super comfy, dreamy shower and roll top bath, very well-appointed kitchen, great dining space and a handy utility room with washer and dryer. Woods at the rear of the house are perfect for a local dog walk with access to the Ashdown Forest a short drive away. Forest Row with its shops and cafes is within walking distance. The Barn is a real home from home and provides a quirky, calm, cosy and relaxing space.

A country barn & forest retreat

LindseyRating, 5 stars2 days ago
The reviews and photos did not do the place justice! It was even better than we expected and more beautiful than the photos can show. The location was a dream - a perfect escape from London life (but easy enough to get back to work Monday morning!) The kitchen and living space were perfect. All the appliances and utensils you could need and a joy to cook in. The bed was SO comfy. Waking up to the natural light (when we opened the black out blinds which were ideal for sleep!) The courtyard / outside area was our favourite. The woodfire hot tub is worth it! We loved it and will definitely be back. Couldn’t recommend more.

The Orangery is a perfect location for a quiet getaway! Martin and Jess were very friendly and took care of us, providing lots of recommendations of what to do. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and wine tasting, as well as the pool and hot tub. Would absolutely recommend staying at this lovely location 😊

Dairy Barn - fabulous views and hot tub

TimRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Great place with peaceful surroundings and good accommodation. The hot tub and patio area combined with fine sunny weather, a magnificent sunrise with great views made the stay more enjoyable and to some extent justified what felt like a slightly over priced stay. The accommodation is well laid out with everything you need for a short stay. More crockery would be useful, especially cups/mugs. We felt welcome, it is especially pet friendly and had a bonus of being visited by a gorgeous golden retriever who was very friendly and appreciated an ear rub. We would use the accommodation again, the host was very communicative and helpful.

Fifth Quarter

A very relaxing, clean, comfortable and quiet place to stay. Michael’s place suited our needs perfectly. Michael and Linda were lovely hosts and were exceptionally helpful.
The exterior of the cottage showcases a blend of traditional and modern architecture, featuring red brick walls and large glass bifold doors. A well-kept lawn surrounds the space, with outdoor seating visible, providing an inviting area to relax and enjoy the scenic surroundings.

Perfect retreat with delightful views

AliceRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Our stay at Ashurstwood House is hard to put into words - a beautiful & memorable place where you almost feel like you’ve stepped through into a different magical dimension in space and time! This isn’t somewhere just to sleep, but to experience in full and relish in every detail. We were six friends staying in the area for a wedding, and regret that we didn’t have more time for enjoying the incredible view from the garden and relaxing in the comfortable house. Heidi is a responsive and friendly host, nothing too much trouble, the bedrooms are very comfortable and characterful - you really can’t get a more inspiring place to stay! We would highly recommend this unique Airbnb and would love to come back.
