Monthly Rentals in Upper Curragh

We only stayed one night in this lovely Ardmore home, but we really wish we had stayed longer! It was such a perfect spot for me and my three kids. The location is great — just a short drive to the beach — and the back garden was really big and a hit, especially the hot tub, which the kids loved. Inside, the house was cosy and welcoming, with loads of board games that kept everyone happy, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Nonie, the host, was so friendly and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend — we’d love to come back for a longer stay next time.

Beautiful cottage with an amazing garden right beside the beach. Marie was very helpful and friendly to deal with. Kitchen was well stocked with necessities (olive oil, salt, pepper, coffee, etc) and utensils. Lovely garden furniture ideal for dining outside. Beds are very comfortable and the house is very cosy and rustic. Kids loved running around the garden with all the birds, including a very friendly resident robin. There is a steep drop into a stream around the edge of the perimeter so small kids would need to be watched closely outside. We hope to come back soon!

Beautiful, modern house on a quiet country road that leads to a beach cove. It is a five minute drive from Ardmore village. The house was comfortable and warm with stunning views. We never turned on the television, preferring to watch the horizon instead! The kitchen is really well laid out and has everything. We had a lovely trip; local activities we enjoyed included a pottery class in Ardmore Pottery and Solas na Mara seaweed baths in Ring.

We really enjoyed meeting Yolanda and Des, and staying at their beautiful cottage. It was very generously equipped with everything one might need. The spacious and comfortable open-plan kitchen area was ideal for relaxing over dinner. We had plenty of options with 3 bedrooms and a single bed on the landing area so we all slept very comfortably. There are lovely views of the surrounding countryside from the patio area. It’s a short drive (or 25 minutes walk) to beautiful beaches and to Ardmore village.
