Vacation rentals with a patio in Upper Carniola

Nice welcome with touches (wine/chocolate), very clean and new building. 3 apartments in the house, otherwise no private use. Pure apartment building. We were all alone during our stay. Pictures are truthful. Quiet residential area, restaurant and various supermarkets/gas stations/town center (village) within walking distance or by car. Garden with playhouse for the kids (slide/climbing - soon certainly also sand in the sandbox), barbecue corners, parking, property completely fenced (gate to the driveway opens at the push of a button). Fast and easy communication. There was nothing missing in the apartment, modern and new, comfortable mattresses (balcony covered), In the kitchen various cooking utensils could still be retrofitted otherwise TIP TOP Clean! We felt comfortable. THANK YOU

Barbara's place is in a beautiful location with amazing views. Her kitchen and dining place was really big and had all the possible amenities. If you rent a car you can easily visit the tourist spots. She was responsive and flexible with our check-in. The only thing I would mention is that entry to her property is via a flight of wooden stairs so it would be difficult if you have heavy luggage. We have already suggested her to add relevant pics so that people know about it.

We had a lovely stay at this spectacular property overlooking the castle. It felt like we were getting an authentic experience of Ljubljana and Andrej was a very hospitable host. Friendly, responsive, happy to answer questions and help with our luggage and gifted us some Slovenian wine to enjoy during our stay. The location is excellent and we took the walking tour on our first day, which helped get our bearings and some local history, but everything is within easy walking distance of the apartment. For a family of four adults, this was more convenient and relaxing than staying in a hotel and both the apartment and Ljubljana exceeded our expectations. We went on a day trip to Lake Bled from Ljubljana bus station. Tickets are cheap and the service is frequent. It's beautiful there and lots to do with lovely lakeside restaurants so it was worth venturing out of the city for a day. We can't recommend the apartment and Andrej highly enough. Gorgeous, spacious apartment. Perfect location for us as we needed to be close to Kranj. We also loved the sound of the church bells nearby.

Very large apartment, consisting of an entrance hall, a living room, a kitchen, and two very large bedrooms, located in a central area of the city from which it is very convenient to reach the historic center. Located on the top floor of a historic building without an elevator. Free parking (which I personally found wonderful) is practically located under the entrance of the building and therefore easy to access. Easy check-in and checkout. Lan was very kind, helpful and considerate. Communication between us was very simple. In short, we had a pleasant stay in Ljubljana, also for the comfort of this apartment.

We had a wonderful night here, Jaka prepared cooking seasonings for us and the kitchen was cute and clean. The place has a nice view of the mountain and peaceful. Jaka is very warmhearted and responsible.

We had a great stay in Ljubljana! The apartment was comfortable, well-equipped, and in a perfect location right by the river and close to city bikes. The hosts were responsive and made parking super easy. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice, clean and spacious apartment with very comfortable beds. Has everything needed. Arrival is possible at any time using the keypad key box. The only drawback: there is no house number on the house, but there are quite a few 47a, 47b, etc. We arrived at night due to traffic and had to search for the right apartment for a while. Luckily, a couple was awakened by their dog as we walked around their property with a flashlight and then led us to the right house 😅

Very cozy house in a beautiful village! Everything super clean and in order. Jernej is extremely friendly and helpful, his tips were very helpful. Check-in and check-out were straightforward and pleasant. Clear recommendation!

The Captains Lodge was an awesome place to stay. Right in a cute small town w small restaurants, a grocery store, and bike/kayak rentals all within walking distance. Lots of hikes and adventures nearby, about 15 minute drive to Bled. Cozy and clean cabin w full kitchen and upstairs comfortable sleeping quarters. The cabin is right on a river so outdoor space is beautiful with a hot tub, picnic table and lots of seating options, it even comes equipped with privacy shades. Natasa was helpful and responsive, she accommodated an early check in (last minute), gave us hiking and eating suggestions, and quickly and thoroughly answered any of our questions. Highly recommend as a cute, convenient, and unique place to stay!

This apartment is a great place to stay in Bled. It is not in the center of the city, but it's just about 10 minutes walk to the center and about 15 minutes to get to the lake. The terrace is amazing and having breakfast on the terrace and also having a cold beer in the evening and listening to the nature was a bliss. The apartment is quite big and it's much better than the pictures on the Airbnb. It is very cosy, with lots of storage and a very well equipped kitchen. We stayed for a week at Mateja and Gorazd's place and we felt like home. Both, Mateja and Gorazd are very good hosts, super hosts, and they are very friendly and helpful and they will recommend you places to visit and activities, if you want to. The place is also pet friendly and you can also park the car in the yard, next to the house. I definitely recommend this place, if you want to experience a tranquility time to relax and enjoy the pieceful nature, but still be close to the heart of the city.

An apartment located very close to Bled suitable for excursions in the area. The communication with the host was very good, the apartment was very comfortable and equipped with everything you need. Will definitely return!

We loved every minute here! The photos do not do it justice – – it’s far more beautiful in person. The views over trees and the water are spell – binding. We would sit and watch as the sky and the water as the light changed. It was very easy to hike up on the Napoleonic way or down to the seaside. The kitchen was great and it was fun to cook with fresh Italian ingredients. I enjoyed a few swims even in cooler weather. But it was particularly a good place for us to hole up and reboot, take a break and get work done. We hope to make this an annual retreat. Petra and Ivan were particularly helpful, and went out of their way to support our stay and even extend it. We are very grateful!

Host was very helpful and accommodating, and the property is spacious and very clean. The view is stunning, and we loved our walk from the house through the flower meadows to the lake. We also enjoyed a number of other walks from the doorstep into the pristine countryside using our Cicerone Julian Alps of Slovenia guide book. Handy little supermarket a few minutes walk away and we enjoyed two evening meals in Gostilna Mihovc.

Apartment, just outside Ljubljana, having the car was very convenient, private courtyard for parking Clean and tidy environment to spend time in peace with the family. If I have to find something negative, the oven was missing in the kitchen. Klemen is always kind and responsive in messages. highly recommended.

Gerda was very kind, and communication was absolutely smooth. The apartment was very cozy, clean, and perfectly located close to the lake. Even though we unexpectedly had to shorten our stay by one day, Gerda was very accommodating without any issues. I definitely recommend her as a host!

The apartment was less than 10 minutes walking distance from the train station, and maybe just 3 minutes walk to where we could meet tour guides for our walking tours. Also there were plenty of great restaurants within a 5 minute walk, as well as a grocery store. The apartment was also exactly as described and depicted in the photos. We found it to be clean, quiet and very comfortable. It was also very well equipped, and we truly appreciated the large screen smart TV that could easily connect to our streaming services. The other nice amenity was the full service washer and dryer, allowing us to wash our clothes (as we were half way through our travels). Getting into the building and the apartment was a breeze, and using the smart pad to control the air conditioning and other electronics was also easy-peasy. It’s a great apartment and we’d love to stay there again, if we ever return to Ljubjana.

The raitings say it all but let me ellaborate. 1. The check-in was easy with a key lock box outside the building. 2. The dedicated parking spot is a top ammenity if you are renting a car. The area is very busy on the weekends and it was so comforting to know we didn’t have to worry about parking. 3. Chilled beer and wine greeted us - so nice to get our stay started off on the right foot!-) 4. We are coffee drinkers and there was plenty of coffee for the 2 of us. 5. A great supply of kitchen utensiles, glasses, dish towels, paper towels, etc. 6. The hosts were top notch when it came to being avaliable and responsive. 7. The location is great! Just on the edge of town so you don’t have to drive through narrow streets, easy to find, and just a few minutes from the main attraction - the lake! 8. There are 2 markets within 5 minute walks. 9. We encourage you to get up early for a quite walk around the lake! 10. Last, but certainly not least, we would stay here again!

We drove from Croatia to Slovenia and got delayed at the border. Big thanks to Ana and Jost for patiently waiting and warmly welcoming us—they even helped with our suitcases. We really appreciated it! We loved this Airbnb! It’s stylish, modern, bright, and super clean—just like the photos. Opening the living room doors leads to a green lawn—it felt like a dream. Everything worked well: AC, heating, TV, and kitchen. Even the tap water was fresh and drinkable. Ana prepared a bottle of sparkling drink for us and kindly showed us how to use the espresso machine, we enjoyed a few great cups! The shower had plenty of hot water and was really comfortable. Thanks to Ana’s tips, we had amazing Kremšnita, tiramisu, blueberry cheesecake, and Cacao ice cream! We stayed two nights and had a great time. Ana’s quick, thoughtful replies made us feel cared for. If we visit Slovenia again, we’ll definitely stay here. Highly recommended!
