Monthly Rentals in Upper Boddington

The Granary is a lovely thatched cottage tucked away in a peaceful spot on a no through lane in the old part of the village. The property ticked all my boxes for a peaceful and comfortable stay when visiting family living close by. The gated driveway parking directly adjacent to the property makes easy work of unloading/loading on arrival/departure. There are lovely mature garden surrounds to the property offering a good degree of privacy, although not fully enclosed if you have young children or pets. With two dogs in tow it was an added bonus to have lovely countryside walks directly from the door over the adjacent Edgecote Estate. Michael the host’s communication and directions for accessing the property were excellent throughout. Thoroughly recommend.

An absolute gem of a place. We spent 2 nights here en route home in the South after a week climbing mountains in the north. it was just what we needed to recharge. Marveen was tremendous in communicating with you allowing us to use an extension lead from the property to the fridge in our motorhome. we had a chilled day walking to the Batoonal Herb collection and then from Burton Dasset Hills country park across the fields back to The Yew Tree pub in the village. great place scrumptious food. Then back to the Moat gor peace quiet and relaxation. Thank you Marveen. All in all 10/10

We stayed here whilst attending the MotoGp at Silverstone, which was about a 30 minute drive away. The host was quick to respond and came across as very friendly. The house was clean and comfortable to stay in and great that the co-op was just down the road. My only negative feedback would be the TV is so small! I think maybe about 20”, so when we wanted to relax in the evening to watch TV, it wasn’t the easiest to watch. If you’re not bothered about a TV to watch then this cottage is a lovely place to stay.

We stayed at the cottage while visiting our new grandson in nearby Woodford Halse. Communications from Victoria were excellent, as were directions. Upon our arrival Victoria came out to greet us and (vitally important) to ask us what we wanted for breakfast! The cottage turned out to be an absolute delight, nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. Our last Airbnb experience in May 2024 was dreadful and it was a relief to have our faith restored. Although the cottage was small, it was perfect for our needs. The bedroom upstairs was cosy and the bed was very comfortable. The downstairs bathroom was nicely appointed and there was plenty of hot water for showers. Although the cottage doesn't have a kitchen as such, Victoria provided a microwave and toaster, plus bread, cereals, tea, milk, coffee etc. Nothing had been overlooked. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend both the cottage and our host Victoria unreservedly! Thank you very much Victoria! Andrew & Jayne.
