KAMILI VIEW Casa BABU in Zanzibar

LisetteRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Everything was great. Carola was always available Mado was there during our stay and responded immediately if we asked anything. Even the last night before our departure, he was there to wait for the taxi which we really appreciate. Salum took care when I got sick that a doctor came right away. And what a service. The doctor took care of everything even called our insurance to take care of everything. Thank you very much. Only the failure of the electricity was a bit disappointing. But that is Zanzibar. And the road to the sea is also Africa. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay for us. Thank you

Cozy, furnished Studio like suite in Kijitonyama

DaudiRating, 5 stars57 months ago
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Susan's place. Susan is a wonderful and welcoming host. The cottage is clean, stylish, and wonderful. It met all of my needs: cleanliness, security, privacy, comfort, simplicity. I also liked that it was my responsibility to pay directly for electricity and cooking gas. There are clothes lines for hanging laundry. The nearby garden was enjoyable to look at. I liked the table on the covered porch and frequently sat outside to eat, talk, or study. It is centrally located near the major transportation hub of Makumbusho. The nearest daladala stop is "Sayensi." Within walking distance of 30 min is Msasani Beach, Mlimani City Mall and two markets (Kijitonyama and Mwananyamara). Potential visitors, who might be easily annoyed by loud noises, should be aware of the neighboring church which has loud passionate daily services amplified through outdoor speakers. The services were typically 5-8pm daily, with electrified music, and usually all-day on Sundays. I recommend Susan's place to anyone and would love to have the opportunity to stay there again.

bird watch house in the bird reserve

FeiRating, 5 stars4 months ago
I strongly recommend this place to all nature enthusiasts. This is truly my dream garden and house. As a birdwatcher, waking up in the early morning to the sound of birds is the happiest thing. I was very fortunate to meet Bushbaby and elephant shrew on the day I left, and it's hard to imagine seeing them while just strolling in the garden. Prosper took good care of everything and was very friendly, showing me around and trying out delicious restaurants.Next time I come, I hope to stay for at least a week.

Boho Villa Upendo-oasis next to a water cave

Bart-JanRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We've been here for the second time. This time 8 days. We enjoyed it. The super tasty food, the hospitality, the surroundings. Everything is correct. The beach is about a 15 min walk. No hustle and bustle. Only in the evening the sound of Bush babies occasionally. It was great. And what a team there is. Everything is or will be arranged (excursions, taxi etc) and delicious food. In short, enjoyed again! Thanks!

The Zanzibar Beach House-South

EsmaraldaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
As our first time traveling abroad, we felt right at home at The Zanzibar Beach House (which made saying goodbye so hard.) We were blown away with the views, the amazing self-catering unit to cook our own foods (to stay within our budget) and the help we received from the hosts were great! We will miss this piece of paradise 🏝 and we only wish for everyone else planning their trip to Zanzibar to take our advise and book the stay at the unique Zanzibar Beach House! We hope to be back soon! 🇹🇿

Boho Villa Subira - oasis with pool in Jambiani

MarwaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Found serenity and felt home in this place, starting a new life chapter. It was inspiring, motivating, and a place to pray, hope, love, and be inspired. A Serene Retreat in the Heart of Jambiani.. The room I stayed in was cozy and intimate, with its own private roof where I could watch the stars twinkling above. The rustic charm of the room added to its allure, and I felt like I was truly immersed in the natural beauty of the surroundings. The Green Ocean's location in the heart of Jambiani village was a major highlight of my stay. I loved being surrounded by the vibrant local culture. One of the highlights of my stay at Green Ocean in Jambiani, Zanzibar, was the incredible food. The menu featured a range of organic, locally sourced dishes. Every meal was a delight, with fresh ingredients and creative preparation. I loved trying new flavors and dishes. Thank you Melanie for creating this heaven and thanks for everyone, Juve, Kasim, Halima & Jumaa… it was an amazing experience a

Garden Beach Bungalows- Beachfront unit

TerenceRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Wow! What a fantastic place! Absolutely picturesque. Every member of staff always had a big smile on their face, and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was a pleasure each morning and the lunch and dinner menus were great. Whether it was by taxi or tuk-tuk, travelling around Jambiani and Paje was cheap and easy. We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay to relax and unwind. Everything was "pole-pole" ( slowly-slowly) and " Hakuna Matata" ( no worries), which is exactly what we needed. Venessa was a wonderful host, and her help and support when we had flight difficulties was second to none. We had the most incredible time, and can't wait to return again.

I really enjoyed my stay at Iman's place! The cottage was so lovely and sits inside a beautiful and well maintained garden in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. It's even better than the pictures! It's newly renovated and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I stayed in Dar for 3 weeks and wish I stayed here the whole time! But i will definitely be back for my next trip to Dar es Salaam. :)

Such a beautiful and cheerful place. Local workers does the day to day work. They are happy to make a conversation and teach you swahili words. I spent a whole week and enjoyed every day. Takes a little time learning how to best use the daladala transport but this is a great way to meet locals and practice swahili.
