Perfect spot for a group! The villa is beautiful, clean, and has great common areas to relax together. The host was super responsive and friendly, and the staff provided top-notch service. We especially loved the delicious included breakfast. Clean rooms, clean pool — everything was just right. Highly recommend!

Ernst is a very good gatsgeber . He responds immediately and always helps. Everything is very well organized. He has arranged the help on site very well. There is always a contact person there. Maybe think about an emergency power unit......The house is located directly on the beach , just a few steps to the sea. Absolutely quiet location. Thank you very much for the nice time there.

Fantastic location on the ocean, with fabulous views from all terraces and especially from the upper outside deck. Great open plan living space with views and spacious bedrooms with en suite bathrooms . The staff were incredibly welcoming, kind and discreet, always there to greet and assist. The property and gardens are really well designed and have a great flow. Superb walks to the reefs at low tide. The remote location provides great privacy and relaxation, highly recommended. We will be back!

My stay at this beautiful property in Zanzibar was incredible. The house is truly a dream—spacious, elegant, and equipped with all the amenities you could wish for. This place is AMAZING! The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you need for a long or short stay. It was actually the only place I found with good wifi in Zanzibar as I work remotely. It is literally 5 min to the beach! The host was also super responsive, gave me a lot of tips and even helped me find a great piece of art. I was also welcomed with a mix of fruits which was a great touch. Stop your search and book this place now!

loved this Airbnb, great location. shops around the corner and a great restaurant called rafikis chickies (who also deliver) beach is a 7-10 minute walk. the pool is super small, but fine for a quick dip to cool down. would be nice if main bedroom had AC as it gets hot, but the fan worked fine. the house is open and there was mosquitoes after 5pm so unless there was wind you can really sit outside and find yourself retreating to the bedroom for an early night. all in all. great place. we would stay again 👌

For 2 days we felt like in a dream :)) The huge and very well kept garden around Villa Makuti is amazing. We loved the many different spots to sit or lay down and enjoy the beautiful views... To order a private cook was very comfortable and Omar was a very nice and good driver. Thanx for this wonderful experience!!!

A gorgeous gem of a place located a minute walk to the beach, yet tucked away from the hustle & bustle. This place really offered a sense of serenity nestled away… The apartment was spacious with an open plan kitchen, dining area, and veranda where you can sometimes see the kites flying, and was a great place to chill with friends. The dogs are adorable and made the place feel like home. With so many activities in Paje this place was a miracle find to be so central to all the tours and sports on the island 🏝️. Thank you 🙏

We loved our stay at Soul! Our Tuk Tuk (taxi) driver knew the place, entered via a staffed gate, and dropped us off with luggage right at our condo. The place is incredible with EVERYTHING you need! Comfortable beds/pillows, hot shower, streaming TV with a REAL sofa (not a bench). The kitchen was outstanding! UNIQUE: oven and a microwave! Perfect if you want to cook a few/all of your meals while in Paje. Plus a washing machine, dishwasher, AC in every room, and a generator! All the appliances are newer and worked perfectly. Great pool view from the large patio with a hammock for relaxing with a book. The pool was huge and beautiful! There is a kiddie pool on both ends and the main pool slopes down to about 1.5M. You could do laps, but we like to do sort of a full-body pool workout - Perfect! The pool was closed a few days for maint. but Ann-Sofie our incredible 5-STAR host took care of us and recommended Ndame hotel on the beach for food/pool - we loved it! I highly recommend Soul!

We had an amazing time in this apartment in paje. It is not far from the beach and the swimmingpool is great. Everything went well, laundry machine available, everything necessary for cooking, people are the gate are really welcoming. We would definitely recommend!

I had a very good stay. The location was great — convenient and close to everything I needed. The amenities were exactly as described and made the stay really comfortable. The host was always available and responsive whenever I had a question or needed anything, which I really appreciated. Overall, it was a smooth and pleasant experience. Fumba Town is a very nice place to stay: close to the beach and not far from Stone Town and the airport. The apartment is very neat and with tasteful furniture and good facilities like a washing machine and vacuum cleaner. An umbrella came in handy too :-) because it was the rainy season. Kwetu kwenu beach club is nearby and chill with amazing sunset views. Highly recommended, the apartment and the town.

I can't say enough great things about this place, and if we're ever lucky enough to return to Paje we will absolutely stay here again! The place is an apartment in what is really more like a gated community but it's also super close to everything so it's the best of the both worlds - We loved having the pool, communal working space, cafe, parking for our rented scooter, and laundry available and felt super safe because of the security. It was also really nice having a real space to make our own for the week, with a living room + tv, kitchen, and extra bedroom. The beach is a short walk away and there are tons of restaurants on the main the street that are actually better and cheaper then the beach restaurants. If you're only in Paje for a night or two and want to stay steps away from the beach or be right in the middle of the party scene, this might not be the place for you, but we saw a friends room at one of the beach clubs/hotels and were so happy we were staying here instead :)

Our stay here was perfect- quiet and peaceful and safe - beautiful location easy walk to beach and restaurants- breakfast was always very good (could use a little variety/ but very good!!)

First, I want to say I’ve been living in this country for almost 4 years. I stayed here for three months, waiting for my house to be finished being built. I stayed in about four Airbnb‘s prior to this one. This is by far the best you will get finding western accommodations in Tanzania 🇹🇿 is impossible. The location is central and the host is a very nice guy. The only thing I would say they need to change to make the place perfect is getting a bigger Refrigerator for long staying guest. This is where you want to stay. r I told them about it they stopped doing it. 5 star accommodation.

The staff was the best part of the stay. They were amazing, especially Dan. The property is next to the beach and in the middle of a village. Seeing the African culture and way of living mixed with paradisiac views…was riveting. Several descent restaurants in the area as well. Will definitely book again.
